I've seen a lot of window stickers in the last few years and they've all had some of the boxes grayed out, specifically in the lower left. Recently, mostly by accident, I had a PDF copy of one opened and inadvertently selected the text and I was surprised to see some "ghost" text selected in the gray boxes. Pasting it elsewhere I saw dealer names and addresses, so I'm wondering, why gray those boxes out? I doubt dealers have some expectation of privacy or other concerns about their name and address being visible. The very bottom box shows a "ship via" or something like that, and I think for those who chose the spray in liner it contains the address of the company that does the spray in liners. After my cut-and-paste find I noticed that when I load a window sticker in my browser I see the text for a split second before it's covered up.
Attached is a screenshot of a window sticker taken while it was about half loaded in my browser (none of the options and other details loaded yet, and you can see what was the spinning circle indicating that it was still loading). The second screenshot is of the same window sticker after it finished loading.
