I have a Milwaukee M12 but I find it only useful for topping off or for bicycles. I would not want to have to depend on it for airing up after being off road. For that I would want something that runs directly off the truck battery. On all my 4x4s I have always installed on board air, the Ranger was the most challenging but doable, and ARB single is in the same price ballpark as a good portable as long as you can fab up your own bracketry.

How about coming up with an ARB under hood bracket for a reasonable price since the Australian one is unobtainable here in the US?

Fanttik X9 Ultra is an awesome inflator and is programmable for different pressures in different cars. Will reinflate after an airdown and plenty of battery left. Auto shut off.

That’s actually a really solid suggestion. A lot of Ranger owners seem to land in the same spot, the M12/M18 inflators are great for topping off, but once you start airing back up after trails, onboard air is hard to beat.
