I have to give a shout out to jrRaptor for his post on how to wire your radar detector power to the rear view mirror, Beat the hell out of going down too the fuse box. I have found the forum entertaining and educational. I installed my V1 Gen2 radar detector and my RedLine Tuning quick lift kit on my 2025 Ranger Raptor. Both were done in less than an hour and a half thanks to the help. The power tap was spot on from Matt (jrRaptor) as I didn't even use my multi-meter to check the connection. The hydraulic hood struts installed very easy so when you pop the hood release the hood comes up about a half an inch so you can find the second latch very easily. I say to hell with that hood prop rod. I did the same thing for my 2013 Shelby.
