You are incorrect. It will install just fine. Unless something has changed recently.
It's the way it's always been. Have you installed it on a 25 RR yourself? Are you sure??

Yes, I ended up getting the Ford Performance tune and installed it without issues. Where are you getting your information from? Have YOU installed it yourself and encountered an issue?

  • "2024 50-state approved. California C.A.R.B. EO#: D-431-12
  • 2025 available for non-California vehicles"
  • " ***Calibration and ProCal 4 tool are VIN locked. Please contact the Tech Line with additional questions*** "
You already know this, but you just voided your warranty. This isn't an option for me. Too risky, but if it's worked for you, then I am incorrect. I thought it chokes when you go and start the process and it sees your VIN isn't covered by the CARB approval.

Again you’re incorrect, it doesn’t void your warranty. It is only an issue with carb certification in California so if I need to smog then I’d just revert back to the stock tune. If you’re implying that my warranty is voided because I installed the tune myself, you’re again incorrect because I’m a certified ASE Master Tech.
