My local dealer has 587 F 150s and 45 Rangers. He advertises that he is the largest Ford dealer in Houston. Their F150 inventory is usually close 1000 and Ranger inventory near 70. Guess your dealer may be exaggerating just a little bit🤣
No, my dealer just sells more.

Did a quick check, found Planet Ford dealership is 5th in the nation, number 1 in Texas.
Bill Brown Ford in Livonia Michigan is the number one volume dealership.
Also Texas has the most Ford dealerships of any state at 224 which is 8% of all of Fords dealerships. The number of dealerships I would think cuts into sales volume. I have seven Ford dealerships near me with Planet Ford being the closest.

We have a population of about 60K-ish and I've seen maybe 6 different 5g/6g Rangers here with one being a RR. It's just not as popular as I had expected. Maybe being $40k+ has something to do with it. I wouldn't have bought this had it not had the discounts. I bought my 25 STX last month as a leftover.

I think until Ford puts a second or possibly a dedicated plant on line building the Rangers, the Ranger sales volume is always going to be tied to the sales demand of the Bronco.

Seems Ranger sales follows hand in hand with whatever is going on with Bronco demand.
Bronco demand seemed to dip a bit last year , freeing up capacity to build more Rangers late last year, which in turn lead to more Ranger availability and more Ranger sales.

Rangers seem to sell pretty well, when availability is decent. Seems Ranger availability is back to being a little tight again, which I am sure is having a significant impact on lower sales volume.
