Hi all Good morning
Y'all can call me 'SHA', from the beautiful island of Trinidad. I recently bought the Ranger Wildtrack 2024 2.0 Bi Turbo and im loving it so far but; A few days ago whilst working, I noticed a strange noise coming from the engine area, sounded like a bearing/tension pulley of the sort so, I immediately pulled aside. I turned on the hazards and slightly tapped the X and my Ranger Wildtrack 2024 2.0 Bi Turbo started shaking like a Dashboard puppy. The vehicle works fine, but whenever I put on the hazards, Ac, inverter, phone etc and then slightly tap the X, it shakes like a puppy for a few secs to a minute or so then stops. This mostly occurs when the wheather is around 30° to 39°. The last time I filled up the tank was approximately 3 to 4 days prior to this issue showing up. The Tac and Temperature remains normal when the vehicle is in this state.
3 Questions 1. Is it normal for white steam or smoke to be coming from the dipstick holder when the wheather temp is around 30° to 39° ?
2. Ever so often, I hear a sound like 2 metal symbols 'flex plate' on startup. Is that something to be concerned about?
3. Driving through the roughs, it sounds like something is loose in the tray cover and making a knocking noise whenever the vehicle rocks from side to
side. Is there a fix for this?
