Just started getting this message on my new Raptor... there are loads of such posts affecting the F150 model. I have tried the drive at speed and all doors etc are closed. DTC code and info is attached...

It means the Radar on the rear does not work...

Any help appreciated..

Same issue here ... Tried several tricks Like disconnect Battery for 10 Minutes and stay on Brake
to deplete any rest-currents, afterwards drive the car at approx. 50kmh straight and not steer.
No luck - Update all to latest Software - no luck .
I guess a Camera Calibration at the Dealer is next.

My local Ford Master Technician has sorted it. He did a calibration but had to do each camera/system one at a time. The first I.e the back appeared to work but after 2hrs faulted again. In the end it was the 360 system/module that seemed to fix it. They have kept the job open and asked me to try it for a few days and report back.

Be careful if using an Autel to read DTC codes…. The code was right on my scanner but the description was wrong…

Fixed ! Exactly how Joules wrote. Thanks again for pointing into that direction.

The freezing of the Screen : Ford will replace the 12" screen unit, waiting for a appointment.

Glad the reverse assist is sorted…. I fed back the good news to my local master tech too. Sorry to hear of the other issue with the 12" panel. Hope it’s sorted soon…. By the way If you don't have bonnet struts those ones I fitted are great.

Hi guys, I have the same issue with the reverse brake assist. Unfortunately my local Ford technician doesn't know how to fix this even when I've told them the solution provided here. That's the down side of living on a small island in the Caribbean.

Is there any way I could do the calibration myself? If so what do I need to be able to do this?

Hope you guys can help me with this.

Hi Ron
This will require a Ford authorized garage that can perform a re-calibration of the cameras.
All cameras not just the rear one apparently. I have no info how this process is actually performed and what special instruction/Software are necessary.
Did you try the HQ/Customer care of Ford for the region ?

Best regards to beautiful Bonaire !

Yeah, as Peter said its a tricky job. Ask your technician to contact the European tech group, they share info together. I know the master tech who sorted mine was feeding his learning back to them.

Good luck.

Ok, you guys won't believe this. My Raptor wasn't really dirty, but had some mud spots under the wheel base and the sides of the car. So I just went to to manual car wash and I high pressure washed for like 2 minutes... Guess what? 😂😂 Reverse brake assist issue resolved! 🙈🙈 So I guess it was a "dirty spot" on one of the cameras (or some of them).. Anyways, might be handy to know. Just keep your car clean 😅😂

Reverse brake assist should also be affected by the sensors in the bumper. Gotta keep them clean
