Hey yall, curious if any of you have the 2.7L V6 and also the Rival 4x4 Engine Skid Plate?

I am thinking of getting it to protect the plastic oil pan, but want to make sure it doesn't inhibit the oil changes too much. It does have the nice port window. I'd most likely leave the port cover off

Please weigh in if you do have this skid plate on a 2.7L! I am waiting to get my truck and install this skid plate before deciding on either the Ronin or UPR drain valve - will depend on which one is easier to access and work with with this plate. Thanks all!

I have a Ranger Raptor with this skid plate and the Ronin drain valve.

It makes it easier to access the drain plug, but I have to wiggle around a bit to get the Ronin drain 'key' installed. (my hands aren't on the small side)

I also attach some rubber hose to the end of the drain key to help reduce any spillage that may happen to occur. The hose probably isn't needed, but I use one anyway.

Thanks for weighing in, glad the Ronin still works with the Rival plate!
Curious, do you run the holes through the port window, or do you have it exit out the side of the plate?

I've done it both ways and either will work, but I do it out the side so there's less chance of a restriction/ bend in the hose.
