Hello all,

I have noticed that my truck does a shudder from a stop just like the last generation ranger. I have also noticed that if it's in eco or normal mode it lugs so bad when crusing, not to mention if you have to come to a stop quick the transmission acts like it can't shift down quick enough. Also, on the highway when going up hills unless its downshifts a ton it almost feels like a misfire/ shudder. Has anyone else had these issues?

Had the same exact issues under same conditions with my 2019 Ranger Lariat and became a heartbreaker they could not figure out after a full year and 70 total days in shop, so I traded it in for my 2024 XLSTX. Best decision ever. In the end, it was awesome 90% of the time but the other 10% of the time very aggravating and I always had a doubt in my mind wherever I went, and it was going to act up again. Of which it often did.

Do the 6G have the same 2-piece drive shaft as the 5G? That 2-piece was a major culprit in the shuddering and vibrations at 70+ mph. Some had success with a pinion angle adjustment. Some opted for a Tom Woods 1-piece shaft, which was the only guaranteed fix for shudder/vibration.

I have not experienced those issues. Hope you are able to get yours sorted!
