Why Ford used RED Loctite on those bolts, is beyond me... when a drop of Blue would suffice.

30 minute install my ass.... the bolts holding the tie downs are lock tighted in to the M8 holes in the bed and trying to get the bolts out resulted stripping of the bolt heads due to the T40 bit you have to use. also ended up breaking my vise grips trying to remove the bolts... Im going to go to Home Depot and get some regular M8 bolts to replace them and then finish the install of the mounting bracket. oh yeah got to get a new vise grip also... what a pain in the ass....

My M12 impact had them out in seconds. Sorry about the difficulty you've had.
