Had a little idle time so used a tiny bit of the orange vinyl that I'm going to use to dress up the "factory" bedside graphics, when they arrive. I like the side, not sure about the hood yet. I'll see it in the daylight tomorrow. I think I curved it toward the center a touch too early, left some of the countour line exposed.

I did a bit of orange on mine too.

Added bedside graphics from Yotto Overland. They were the typical black, gray, and white ones and look pretty much like the factory installs. I added some orange pinstriping to make it mine and to continue the orange theme that Ford started on the inside with the seats and around the vents.

Went ahead and installed the front and rear graphic pieces and added my orange as well.

Continued the orange accent theme with the tow hooks. Little weird experience as the "plastidip" that I used was very "thin" for lack of a better word. Rattle can application, which I had done before on a previous truck and worked terrifically, just didn't want to coat. I did four or five coats and really didn't get a good covering. I may try to spray it into a tray and apply with a brush at some point to get better coverage. For now it has a little color though:

I was doing another couple coats on the tow hooks and realized it was not an issue with the plastidip before, it was user error. In trying to minimize overspray, I was holding the can too close to the hook. Worked much better when I followed the directions on the can ?

Friday I had the undercarriage coated in fluid film at T3 Industries, Manahawkin, NJ. They were terrific, highly recommend.

Today I installed a Ford swing out box. I had about 38,000 reward points after the purchase of the Raptor and it took $190 off the price of the box. So for $52, it was a pretty good deal. Nice as I was able to take a bag that I carried in the cab out and put all the stuff that was in it (ratchet straps, bungees, portable air compressor, and reflective safety vest) into the swing/pivot box.

Also today, I'm in the process of putting this together to have some backup on the spur of the moment trail rides. It's a workout to move; thing is heavy!

Got it all buttoned up and ordered a wiring kit to run power from the vehicle battery. It's a bit heavy to lug around for sure, about 82 lbs:

Had the winch apart to attach the winch-side end of the quick disconnect power cable setup from Rough Country. Ran the long side from the battery back to the tailgate earlier today. No lift so a little unorthodox parking and a creeper made it work.

Cut a piece of my vinyl stripe off the hood to take away the "rounded" look I had before.

It's alive! As simple as it was, I'm always thrilled when something I do actually works as intended. Very satisfying to get it hooked up and actually have it work when I hit the buttons on the remote.

Nice that the combo seat/creeper that my Pop got me was nearly exactly the right height. (little bit of a walk from the apartment to the parking spot. Much easier to roll it)
