Wondering if having a mount welded to the front so that a winch could be stored in the bed and only used when needed so as not to block any cooling/intercooler airflow would be feasible? Was picturing being able to use something like this if/when I got myself stuck and then taking it off again if I'm not getting myself into predicaments:

Front receiver Hitches have been around for a long time, are specially useful when launching a boat. Etrailer is a company that usually carries them. Typically they bolt on using the front bumper bolts. I doubt anyone makes one for the new Ranger, but you could go on their site, and get an idea of what they look like. A custom hitch company may be able to make you one. Im not sure I would weld one on, I would be concerned with possibly voiding the warranty.
