Where should these lines connect in engine bay?

There should not be an open vacuum line. I would cap the line and have the dealer run it down.... good luck as I'm sure you're going to get a lot of, " I don't know what you're talking about"!

Thanks for the photos! Looks like they may of installed the wrong part on mine during assembly for a different ranger as the line set doesn't go anywhere just flops around loose open ended on both of them. Looks like mine will need to have a cap installed in this location to block off the port.
