24 Raptor loud spinning / chirping noise from engine bay only when hot

Hey crew, my 2024 Ranger Raptor has started making a noise when I slow down to a stop and then pull away. I cannot hear it above about 30kmh and it doesn't makethe noise at idle.

It sounds like a bird chirping, tweeting, high pitched, a spinning sound. You can hear it spin down as the truck slows and then spins up again as you speed up.

The interesting thing is it only starts after about 20mins, so once it is properly warm.

I've tried recording the sound but doesn't pickup well when recorded from inside the cab.

Anyone else experienced something similar or have ideas what it could be?

My truck made a noise kinda like that It was bad front wheel bearings at 2k miles

Yup. It’s not from the engine bay, it’s something with the drivetrain under the truck. Normal.

check my thread out. Mine sounds just like yours in the video . One forum member claimed it was the front driveshaft that needed to be replaced.

Thanks fellas. You'll be interested to hear that I booked it into the dealership and took a mechanic for a drive. He could hear it loud and clear!

Picked it up this afternoon and they tell me it was a factory tag attached nearby rubbing on the bolts on the driveshaft. Great!

After the car warmed up again this evening, still making the same freekin noise.

Yes it’s the front driveshaft that needs to be replaced
