Weird whirring noise when AC is on

Does anyone elses AC make a weird noise that seems to go up and down with rpm? Its been doing this since day one but its finally starting to annoy me to the point of maybe taking it to the dealership.

I have heard a whining noise in my RR going with acceleration. I didn't notice if its only with the AC on/off. Ill have to double check

Sounds like a dealership problem to me. Sounds almost like a bad capacitor on old fashion ignition system. Possible loose or bad ground but that's a guess. Have not heard anything like that in my RR.

Yes. I hear this noise in my XLT. Kind of annoying, but mostly gotten use to it. If you take it in to the dealer, let us know what they find.

Dealership put a new AC compressor in yesterday. The sound is the exact same still. They are contacting Ford to see what they should do next.

I've definitely noticed it. The noise absolutely goes away when the AC is turned off. Hope its something they figure out. Keep us posted

The dealership fixed the sound by adding fuel line to the exposed metal ac lines. Weird fix but it worked.
