Just wrapped up my first solo camping/overlanding trip, exploring Gosling Lake, Medicine Lake, and Rose Creek, Alberta.

Had an absolute blast, learned a ton, and quickly figured out what gear I forgot and what I wish I’d had along. Every trip is a learning experience, and this one definitely gave me a better idea of how I want to build out my setup.

Already looking forward to getting back out there and exploring more this summer.

let’s see some of your overlanding off-roading photos if you have any?

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful area.

We have been toying around with the idea of getting something like this or a small off road camper like a forte or similar. Before we do that we figured we would take the ranger out first on a couple of day trips exploring to see if the bug bite stays. Hopefully find some safe, easy, off road trails that do not leave sage brush love marks during the first year yet allow small hikes with the dog.

Have been searching the forums for posts like this so thanks. Trying to build a reasonable go bag for the day along with snacks and water :)

Really nice looking setup 👍

Which tent are you using and what's your wheel/tire setup?
Thanks mate! Same to your setup!
My wheels 17x9 procomp 0 offset
Tires 285/70/17 (33s) ko3s
And the tent is the wildland summit explorer.
