Hey everyone,
We've got another Ranger Raptor product that we're excited to finally release.
One area we noticed didn't have much protection from the factory is the lower trailing arm mounts. They're one of those components that can take a beating when you're crawling over rocks or dropping into ruts, and once they get hung up, it doesn't take much to do some expensive damage.
To help with that, we've developed the IAG Trail Shield™ Lower Trailing Arm Mount Skid Plate Set.
Designed to Slide, Not Snag
Rather than leaving the trailing arm mounts exposed, these skids create a smooth surface that helps the truck slide over rocks and other trail obstacles instead of hanging up on them.
They're built from 3/16-inch steel and use recessed hardware, so the bolt heads sit below the face of the skid plate instead of becoming the first thing to contact an obstacle.
The result is a cleaner surface that's less likely to catch on rocks while also protecting the factory trailing arm mounts from impacts.
Built to Work with the Rest of the Trail Shield Line
These skids can be run on their own or paired with the rest of our Trail Shield products for more complete underbody protection.
If you're already adding skids to your Ranger Raptor, these are an easy way to cover another vulnerable area.

Installation is pretty simple and doesn't require removing any high-torque suspension hardware.
