Hey everyone,

If you've spent any time under the rear of a 2024+ Ranger Raptor, you've probably noticed how exposed the Fox Live Valve trailing arm sensors are. They're mounted pretty low on the trailing arm, making them an easy target for rocks, ruts, and anything else the trail decides to throw at them.

Instead of just putting a guard over the sensor, we decided to tackle the problem a different way.

We've just released our IAG Trail Shield™ Lower Trailing Arm Sensor Relocation Kit, which moves the sensor up and out of harm's way while still maintaining proper sensor movement for the Fox Live Valve suspension system.

Why relocate it?
The factory location leaves the sensor hanging in one of the most vulnerable spots under the truck. If it gets damaged, you're looking at more than just replacing a sensor—you can end up with suspension faults, limp mode, or losing Live Valve functionality altogether.

Rather than simply adding another skid or shield around the existing location, this kit relocates the sensor approximately 4 inches higher, tucking it closer to the frame where it's much less likely to take a direct hit.

The relocation bracket is designed to mimic the factory sensor movement, so the suspension system continues to operate just like Ford intended.

Quick Installation
This is a pretty straightforward install.

  • Roughly 10–15 minutes per side
  • No drilling
  • No cutting
  • No wiring modifications or splicing
  • Uses existing mounting locations
Simply remove the factory sensor, bolt it to the relocation bracket, and install the assembly using the factory mounting points.

Built for the Trail
Like our other Trail Shield products, these are built in-house at our facility in Westminster, Maryland.

Features include:

  • Heavy-duty 11-gauge steel construction
  • Durable black powder coat
  • Designed specifically for the 2024+ Ranger Raptor
  • Built to stand up to real off-road abuse

Lifetime Warranty
We back the kit with a Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty for the original purchaser (powder coat excluded), so you can install it with confidence.

We know there are a few sensor guards already out there, but our goal was to actually eliminate the vulnerability instead of just adding armor around it. By moving the sensor out of the danger zone entirely, there's simply less chance of it getting hit in the first place.

If anyone has questions about the design, installation, compatibility, or wants to see additional photos, let us know. We'd be happy to answer them!

Interesting looking solution and installation looks simple.... Also looks like if the relocation linkage were to be damaged you could move sensor back into it's stock location.
