Slipping production date

[RR2024]

Two weeks ago I received my VIN and my Raptor production was for scheduled the week of Feb 12, 2024. Now it's showing the week of Feb 26. Seems like it got pushed back either yesterday or today. Anyone know else getting pushed back?

Nothing new everybody has been moved around. Just be glad you are scheduled. Some of us haven't even been scheduled.

From what I've seen here on the forums, it's not wise to dwell on your build date and how it jumps around. Just take having one as a good sign that the end is in sight.

Mine has only changed once since scheduling started. I went from a 02/05 build week to 02/12 and holding steady as of 5 minutes ago.

What dates did y’all with VINs order y’all’s trucks? I gave my dealer my deposit on May 12 and they got the order in a few days late on May 30th with a priority code 20. Azure gray, no bed liner and no beadlocks, and only the securicode keypad as an option. Still no VIN from ford chat or from my dealer, so I was wondering if anyone who got their order in after me already has their VIN. There’s supposed to only be a few thousand Ranger Raptors built for 2024, so you’d think they would be able to get us who ordered early scheduled and get our VINs. Hopefully someone at Ford reads these and can relay how frustrated a lot of us are.

I ordered 10/25/23. Got the order confirmation while still sitting at the salesman desk. On 12/14/23 got my VIN and a build week of 02/05/24 a couple days later it bumped to 02/12/24. Velocity blue, graphics package, sprayed in bed liner, security key pad. When the salesman placed the order it was priority code 19, early on the morning of scheduling day the salesman changed it to Priority 3. I’m not sure if that mattered but that’s how it all went.

I ordered 12/22. Got my email within hours. Priority 19. No build date yet. Since I ordered so late, I’m expecting it to take awhile.

I also order 5/30 and have heard nothing. Iconic Silver with zero options. These trucks obviously aren't being built based on order date. The official Ford account hasn't provided anything of value on this forum so I seriously doubt anybody cares about our frustration.

I ordered my truck on 7-3 (Lariat, Cactus grey, Spray in,Step) and still no Vin. No emails or updates at all. Not exactly how to treat customers.

None of this ordering makes sense, it seems to be totally random as to order dates vs production dates. My Lariat was ordered in May and was confirmed but have heard nothing so it is really frustrating. Had ordered a Maverick on the first day the order bank opened but never did get it, had the dealer cancel the order after over a year of waiting.

Sounds like you need to find another dealer.

brother, i ordered 5/29/2023 and no vin. you will get your truck, but patience is the game here. If you can't handle that I'm sorry, but you are gunna have to go pick up something used or an f150

Priority code 20 is a stock order. Priority codes 1-19 are retail. So you’re not going to get a VIN. The dealer will when Ford decides to start building stock orders, but the truck is not officially assigned to you specifically unless it’s a retail order. This also means you’re not price protected.

Put my order in 6/6/23 for the dealer's stock allocation. It was changed to a retail order on 6/26/23. I got my build date of 2/19/24 (initially was 2/12/24) on 12/14/23. I ordered a plain jane Velocity Blue Raptor. Nothing extra because I didn't want any supply chain issues.

For a Raptor it doesn't matter when you ordered it, your dealership has to have an allocation for one. Everyone says each dealership is supposed to get one to start but that doesn't mean every dealership has gotten there allocation yet. My dealership supposedly has two allocations but that just what I was told months ago, however myself and someone else already have build dates.
