What Ranger XLT issues should I look for at delivery?

After a May order date, my Ranger XLT has shipped with a November target arrival date. When I show up at the dealership to take delivery what issues should I look for before accepting? From the forum, I've seen: hood, door, and tailgate alignments, paint chips, runs and drips, upholstery, and what else?

Probably not a issue anymore but a lot of the early ones had rust underneath-driveshaft mainly.

Mine was all good.

I tried adjusting the bump stops on the hood only but it was still hard to close so I raised the latch up about 1/8" and now I can lower the hood down and just lock it with pushing down with 2 hands like CPR haha . The dealership I picked it up from said it was supposed to be thrown up in the air from about 6 inches from the frame and then let it slam down to lock. HELL NO. The TSB wasn't published yet so I had no real proof they were wrong.

When you go to pick up your Ranger XLT, check these things:

Look at the hood, doors, and tailgate. Make sure they line up right and open and close smooth.

Check the paint. Look for chips, scratches, or marks.

Check inside. Look at the seats, dash, and trim. Make sure nothing is ripped, loose, or dirty.

Test all lights, front and back.

Try the radio, air, heat, windows, and locks.

Check the tires. Make sure they match and have no damage.

Start the engine. Listen for strange sounds.

Look under the truck for leaks.

Drive it, if they let you. Feel for how it runs and stops.

Also ask for a vehicle inspection report before signing anything. That shows if the truck had problems during shipping or at the lot.

Take your time. If you see something, ask questions before signing.
