Just ordered mine, I found another promo code SHOP425 for 20% off, expires tonight along with REDEEM425.
I just ordered mine tonight as well!! Thank you very much for the promo code as it was the push I needed to order it. I had already used the REDEEM425 but the SHOP425 is even better at 20%. With the 20% discount and my points I got it down to $444.07 with tax, not bad! Only $8.88/hp 😁

I’ll wait a bit before having it installed, still have some break-in to do.

2025 - tune installed yesterday in Indianapolis. Still under 1000 miles so haven’t been able to open it up yet.

Downloading the tune yourself and having the account on your laptop allows you to update your truck when they make revisions to the tune in the future.

I think the 5G Ranger FP tune is on its 8th revision now?

This also allows you to switch back to the factory calibration if you decide to do so.

I've been sitting here at the dealership waiting for them to finish my install. I told them that I didn't necessarily need the "display module" mounted/plugged-in after they were done installing the tune, but they told me that it had to remain plugged in.

That's not correct, is it?

You are right.
That is incorrect.
Once the flash is complete the FP tuner can be unplugged.

Oh well. I guess I can just hide the cable if it bothers me too much. Thanks!

What, just unplug it lol
Sir.... the cable runs behind the pillar and through the dash down to wherever it needs to be plugged into. I wouldn't want to undo all of that (just in case), but also wouldn't want that cable just hanging out of the pillar.

I'm confused, doesn't it plug into the OBD port under the steering column? I'm taking delivery of my Raptor and tuner this weekend so I currently have neither on hand. But on my 2014 Raptor, this was the case.

It’s amazing how much incorrect information the dealership service departments share with their customers.

Yes but the display is on a suction cup mount on the bottom left of the windshield. So they routed the cable up from the ODB through the dash/pillar and then out to the display unit.

Aw man, did they tell you they were going to do that before the install? Sounds like a sneaky upsell job..

I told the person handling the paperwork that I didn't want it permanently mounted, but then she came back and said the tech said it was required (which was confirmed incorrect up above).

If you don't like it I'd take it back and have them undo it AND demand to be refunded for the shady labor time upcharge for it. Especially since you did not request it and they incorrectly said it was required. Service centers are notorious for this type of bs to pump their numbers.

ProCal tune dealer installed this morning. I could tell the tune was "learning" the truck was running 93 octane fuel. When leaving the dealer, the truck didn't seem to be much different power and torque wise, 30 minutes later it was definitely pulling harder based on the butt dyno. I imagine it will continue to learn new parameters and improve even more over time.

Definitely loving the improved shift points in Sport mode. Only 500 miles on the truck so still babying it for a bit longer.
