This one might just be the most impactful product we’ve released for the Ranger yet. It may not look like a huge deal at first glance, but the second you go to swap around your bed rail accessories, you’ll see why we’re calling it a game changer. With these nut plates installed, you can remove our Bed Rack RAILS in about one minute flat. That’s right – one minute.

The Bolt-In Nut Plate System adds solid, threaded mounting points to your Ranger’s bed rails. No more fishing around inside the rails, no more spinning nuts, and no more wasted time when you want to reconfigure your setup. Just quick, clean, bolt-in simplicity.

We designed these with our BRAPs (Bed Rail Attachment Points) in mind, but they’re just as important for running our Bed Rack RAILS, Light Pod Brackets, and other accessories. In short: if it attaches to your Ranger’s bed, these nut plates make it better.

Available in uncoated steel or powder-coated textured black, precision-cut in-house, and built right here in the USA.

This is how bed rail mounting should have worked from day one.

This product is Patent-Pending - #DoYourOwnRandD - I think we're going to make shirts with that hashtag on them. 🤣

The video below shows these nut plates paired with our newly released Ford Ranger BRAPs (Bed Rail Attachment Points).

Here are the installation instructions for anyone interested. They are also available on the product page.

To each his own. Plastic has different load bearing characteristics than aluminum. We choose aluminum over plastic due to its ability to resist compression. You're not going to crush our aluminum spacer packs, no matter how many ugga-duggas you put on them!

So these go inside the bed, under the rail, and the soon coming tie down points thread through an aluminum block into these?

Yes, they attach to the bottom side of the bed rails. They're easy to get to for install, all except the very front bolt. It's a little tricky, but you only have to do it once. 😁

Yes, the BRAPs are also posted now - https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/new-product-braps-bed-rail-attachment-points.22641/. The BRAPs ships with normal mounting hardware. These nut plates are not required to use the BRAPs.

Are the plates marked to indicate where each one should be installed beneath the bed rail?

When you hold them up, they fit certain sides and apots because of the notches in them.

I just installed mine

Thanks! I just got mine today and was looking at installing them over the weekend. I appreciate the quick reply. The pictures are super helpful too!

I felt aeound under the lip with a bracket at feont, middle, and back and ince i saw where each went, i laid the ither side out too.

Use a bolt and clear the threads before you try and thread them in the truck. Makes it a lot easier because they have paint in the threads now.

Also, take an extra shim out if you have a tonneau cover or they still will sit high. I had 6 spacer shims when i finished but need to take another off each bracket so my tonneau sits flush again
