A last-minute drive resulted in me trading my beloved (albeit boring) 2024 Maverick Hybrid for a new Carbonized Gray RR. What is comical is my Maverick was purchased here in CG just by luck and also my Bronco. I can't get away from this color!

That said, they currently have a new (just arrived last week) Shelter Green RR for $2171 under MSRP if anyone is interested. I wanted it because it has a bedliner (only option) and mine does not but to be honest I cannot stand that color. Idk what it is, but I hate it.

Ask for John Hinkle, he will take care of you. Tell him the "guy in shorts" sent you lol

Nice truck! Borla exhaust is in Johnson City. Black chrome duals out the back would be awesome.

LOL, i like how even in the dealership photos they still show how shitty the seat leather is on a brand new vehicle, not even an attempt to doctor it.

Wow , I typically don’t really even notice a little leather pucker , seems to be the nature of these seats in general , but that one I think is the worst one I have seen, especially that passenger seat.

Back seat passenger side looks similar, not as bad as the front and not something I would ever complain about but still find it odd.

Yeah thats a good callout on the leather, I didnt notice it when I drove it but I also had a sales person in the passenger seat. Mine doesn't seem to be nearly that bad but I figure it will wear in regardless. Pretty crappy for the price point

I wouldnt complain about it if it was a $25k vehicle, but RRs are more than double that.
Oh yea, I would likely have to ask to have that passenger seat warrantied.
If I liked the truck and the price I wouldn’t let it stop me from buying it.
Just might have to get it notated on the deal they need to warrant that seat cover.
The stitching seems uneven and causing all that mess in that front seat.

In general though a little pucker in the leather here or there, I almost sort of expect it at this point.
I try and keep in mind 50k isn’t what it used to be, even 5 years ago it meant something quite different then it does today. Premium luxury cars or trucks for that matter are all pretty much double that kind of money now days 6 figures and up from there. Lol crazy money now days.

Still would be nice if Ford would get a little better handle on its quality control across the board.
They have had a lot of issues these past few years , seems a lot more then they use to ever have had in the past.

Overall been really happy with the Rangers. Happier overall with the Rangers compared to some of the F150s we have in the business.

I'm curious, what is the payload capacity of the RR?

Mine is still looking great, no puckering. I'm wondering if the problem may being caused by body weight. That would explain why it is not happening on every Raptor. My owned from new 2010 Escape has a little puckering but nothing like the thinner leather used in the Raptor. My Escape also had a much fatter version of myself seating in it for a good part of its life. Only the drivers seat has the puckering, the passenger and rear seats look like new. This just an idea but I know the leather is not of the same quality as the Escape has in it.
I am looking at getting new seat covers with ventilation and hopefully much better quality leather.
If anyone has done the seat cover ventilation upgrade please post about the how well it went.

Lol, not everyone complaining about the RR leather seats is fat. As evidenced by this dealer post, the unused seats have quality issues, and its not just "the pucker" which would be understandable.
