were they a hassle to change with the wheel liners in place or did you remove them. and did they improve the ride.@BB1959 did you find the answer yet? My 4600's just arrived (well, they arrived a few days ago but the tax man gave me detention)
Edit: I just found the repair manual on usb drive Iād bought when I bought my paper copy of the owners manual; Iād misplaced the thumb drive and forgot about it until today. Anyway, that manual indicates 59 lb. Ft. (80 Nm) for both upper and lower bolts and nuts.

They were not too bad to change. I did not have to remove the liners, I had to hold them out of the way of the mounting bolts with a small pry bar. The ride seems better, not as harsh as the OEM shocks and less body sway.were they a hassle to change with the wheel liners in place or did you remove them. and did they improve the ride.

I'd say they were easy to change. I'd suggest removing the wheel liners to make the install easier as that would make getting a torque wrench in place a lot easier, though it's doable with the liners in place. If you remove the liners it's a great opportunity to spray a lanolin-based undercoating (wool wax, surface shield, or fluid film) everywhere.were they a hassle to change with the wheel liners in place or did you remove them. and did they improve the ride.
