New or gapped spark plugs are not necessary. The "data logging" is just part of custom tuning. This is why you typically see higher HP numbers with custom tuning. Because it's more specific to your vehicle. I'm 52, not super techy, and I figured it out no problem.
Thanks. It sure is pricier than the Ford tune. Worth it for the extra HP?

I for one am completely confused. The Goosetuned website is kinda hard to get around. I can't really get a grip on what all is required to tune my Raptor. The instructions on the website are for Gen 2 Raptors. I even filled out the contact us form asking for help and got no reply.
Sometimes the website chat box doesn't send back to you properly. It will always go to your email (if you filled out the form properly). Check your spam folder.

Worst case just email me, or message me here. We will always reply back.

As mentioned if you search Ranger Raptor, that's a great place to start.

I have 2 options for tuning: HPTuners or COBB.

Most like COBB because it's a handheld, easy to use, and doesn't require the internet or bluetooth.

HPTuners - https://www.goosetuned.com/product-page/bronco-raptor-ranger-raptor-custom-tuning-package

COBB - https://www.goosetuned.com/product-...-raptor-24-25-ranger-raptor-custom-tuning-kit

For me, absolutely worth an extra 50 hp over the Ford Procal. Additionally, with the Cobb Accessport, you have the flexibility to easily uninstall the tune (takes a minute or two) for service or to switch back and forth between different fuel maps if you so desire. Winfield from Goosetune knows his stuff.

Goosetuned makes good, fun and most of all safe engine power and transmission tuning! I’m running someone else’s tune but I’ve done enough research that I know you can’t go wrong with Goosetuned.

Little update....ok BIG update!

So as you guys know I installed the Process West catalog on this truck!

Was able to get it on the Mainline Hub dyno for some more testing. I plan to follow up with Dynojet numbers when I get back from my scheduled events. The numbers were AWESOME!

This truck has the following engine mods:

Process West Big Boy Intercooler (I call it the big boy, it's the "stage 2" intercooler)
Process West Charge pipes
Process West Intake
Non-modified Garrett Turbos
Nostrum Stage 3
SPD Catted Downpipes
CSF Radiator

Stock, these trucks make 340-360HP on this dyno

This setup made: 648HP 569TQ!!!!

We saw this same thing on my R&D Bronco Raptor last year. Consistent power!

For reference, the last Raptor R on this dyno, STOCK, made 650HP. This little Ranger Raptor is going to RIP!!!'

If you guys have questions just let me know!

Curious what modification you did on the transmission…if any?

No transmission work yet.

When it's needed I'll build it. We have a great builder local, so I'm not too concerned

I'm currently doing data logs with Winfield @ Goosetuned. This will be my second Raptor tuned by him. I'm doing the 93 map and the E50. The 93 Map is a big jump over the Ford Tune. The customer service and the safe, reliable power I've gotten from Winfield's tunes are above and beyond what the Ford Tune can offer. Can't say enough good things about Winfield and Goosetuned.

How long does it take to do the data logs? It's only a couple or runs right? Then how long before the tune is ready?

I can only speak to my experience, and Winfield is very responsive. That's a recurring theme you will see from everyone's review about Goosetuned.

I've logged data from 3 different maps today. It's easy to do, and honestly, I'd rather have him offer multiple map revisions to fine-tune the truck rather than just one revision.

I did 8-10 runs when Goose tuned mine. 2 runs at a time. So about 5-6 days depending on how busy he is. Follow the instructions sent to you. You don't want to get kicked to the bottom of the list lol.
