How much clearance is there between your roof rack and the bottom of the RTT? Can you please post a pic from the other side of the truck?

Is there room for longer gear such as recovery tracks, table or a ladder without risk of contact from the bed flexing?

Edit - never mind, there would not be any extra room there.

$1500 shipped to Washington makes that a very expensive wind deflector with minimal storage capacity.

my dream set up would have the rack below the level of the roof so the airstream is not disrupted and gas mileage is not effected. then the rtt would open to the side instead of forward.

that is actually what i am doing with mine for my trip in march. spare gas cans, solar panel and battery, coolers and water, and other miscellaneous stuff would go under the rack in the bed. shovels and those tracks for getting out of soft spots will bolt to the rack sides. rifles, pistols, and ammo will ride inside with clothing and stuff i think should be kept in the cabin.

I don't know the exact clearance between the rack and RTT, but it is slim, you could mount a Starlink using our new mount since that can sit between the crossbars at same height level using our Ghost mount kit.

You can also mount gas cans or Maxtrax on the front 2 crossbars if they are oriented horizontally. Attached the other side profile as well for reference.

Did you change out rear springs? Decent amount of weight over the rear now but still has OEM-ish rake.

Yes the owner changed out the rear springs prior to everything being mounted.

That is a huge theft risk when you are not near the truck, and especially if you should stay in a motel overnight. A double stack platform in the cab, for example a Karga, would allow you to store them completely out of sight on the lower shelf. Throw cheap stuff on top like jackets or sleeping bags and it would not attract much attention.

Good one. I have my dream RR, tune, bakflip, spray-in, flaps, tint and no decals. Would like to add the rear section of the Borla exhaust system and may still. IMO Tacoma's and Tundra's are just ugly.
