When I first got my truck last summer, I had multiple instances where the collision avoidance system kicked in and applied brakes and flashed lights on the dash when it thought I was too close to something. After I'd had it several weeks I got it leveled. Not extreme, just ReadyLift 1.5" which...
What did you use to fill the screw holes in the front "bumper" where someone screwed in a license plate? The dealer screwed a plate holder onto mine but I took it off (not required here) and was pissed about the ugly screw holes. Your solution is somewhat palatable.
I go back and forth on gasoline. In Vegas gas 91 is kind of expensive so I usually go 87 unless I happen to be at Costco. If I'm somewhere out of state that has 91 for about what I pay for 87, I'll go 91.
Mine isn't too bad in that regard. 2.7L FX4 Lariat. On one trip from Montana to Nevada (around 900 miles) I got 24+ driving 80 all the time. On another trip from Vegas to Flagstaff and back (200'0' to 7000' and back) I got around 23 and it was windy all the way up there. Doing 80 on that...
I'd love for this to be an option. I use it for parking too, but it takes so long to get to the right screen that it's almost not worth it. I hit the button by the drive mode wheel, then I have to wait for the camera to fully "load", then select the front camera. By that time I could have had...
I don’t think anyone used Forscan on mine I think it was just someone else who test drove it. 2024 Lariat. I don’t remember how it it would go , just remember turning it off and thinking the last guy was an ass.
Be careful with this one. When I bought my truck someone had set it at +19. I set cruise at 65, then when the speed limit changed to 80 (I-90 in Montana), the truck quickly sped up to 99!
2024 Lariat 4x4 owner, 2.7L V6. 5200 miles on it. I've had a few instances of what I'd describe as "clunky" downshifts, I think always from 3-2, and always in Sport mode. It's noticeable because normally this thing shifts like butter, but these instances were not butter, but not bad either...
You must not have had a 5G ranger. My '22 Tremor couldn't have had worse shifting, in normal and sport. Tow was OK, except when not warmed up the downshift from 4 to 2 would chirp the tires as you roll up to a red light. My '24 shifts like a Bentley compared to the '22.
Is this correct? I was under the impression that to run 285's you'd need at least a level AND +35 offset, and that the stock +55 offset wouldn't work with tires that big. I'm not trying to disagree with you, I just want to understand because I plan to go to bigger tires and want to make sure I...
A comment on Amazon said "the fuse adaptor does not fit flush in the fuse box". Was that your experience? If so, is it a big deal? As much as I'd like to support a site sponsor, $35 vs $129 is quite a difference, if the Amazon ones work well.
This last weekend I had some issues with getting a seatbelt warning in the instrument panel when I has passengers in the rear seat. On more than one occasion I had 2 people in the back seat, and the display said the middle rear seatbelt wasn't buckled, even though there was no one in the middle...
My experience with a 2022 Ranger was the battery died early; replaced under warranty after about a year or year and a half. Auto Start/Stop stopped working, and the app kept sending messages saying remote features were disabled to save battery.
