Is this correct? I was under the impression that to run 285's you'd need at least a level AND +35 offset, and that the stock +55 offset wouldn't work with tires that big. I'm not trying to disagree with you, I just want to understand because I plan to go to bigger tires and want to make sure I have the correct (or adequate) offset.I put a 2.5" level on mine and am running 275/70r17 on a +25 offset wheel. They fit very well, but clearance at full lock is very tight on the front wheels. Im glad I didn't go with 285 as I'm not sure they would have fit without rubbing or trimming.
At stock offset you would have a bit more room. I think people run 285/70r17 at stock offset with a level, but not sure about fitment without the level.
All the info related to my fitment is 100% firsthand and correct. Is this correct? Based on all the research I have been doing the past several days. I have no doubt at all that a 265/65R18 would fit perfectly fine, with no rubbing or issues at all.I searched the older posts but found nothing definitive. I have a 2025 Ranger XLT that came with 255/65R18's. Can I put 265/65R18's on without any problems with stock height? Thanks.

I think the 275/65R18 is lis looking like where the limit is for max and not rubbing.
I have found some info on 285s fitting but it starts to get really iffy on clearance of the UCAs.
Some say spacers are needed some say they clear without spacers. I honestly think it would come down to the true spec of the 285 tires chosen. There is always some variance in actual spec compared to the stated sizes. Meaning not all 285s measure a true 285mm some a little more some a little less, and actual tread width can vary wildly.
Ie.
My Raptors came with 285 BFGs and I am running Falken 285s. They both state they are 285s but the BFGs have nearly an inch narrower tread width than the Falkens.
Do you have any pic's to share? TIAI went with the 265's.
I found these pics just now in an open google search of a 6g Ranger with 265/65R18s.Do you have any pic's to share? TIA
Soon...Do you have any pic's to share? TIA
Ready lift sells a 1.5” level and mentions in the fine print that 285/70/17 will only fit with their level after trimming and that stock wheels won’t clear a 285. I would go 265/70/17![]()
