I'd like to install an on board ARB compressor on my non raptor ranger with (ideally) an aux switch and hose quick connect on the bed panel. Seems like the three common mounting points are (1) under bonnet, (2) behind rear seat and (3) behind the bed panel. Trying to get input on pros and cons...
Love the stance of your truck. I have some +35 wheels on order, but rethinking the 0 offset after seeing this.
Whats the situation with your exhaust? Assume its custom?
Are you able to explain how these audio to rca adapters / KeyLoc systems would improve the system? I see a lot of people use them on a similar setup but I don't totally understand the purpose.
Also, anything with a high level input (whether a KeyLoc or a sub) has both right and left inputs...
Would something like the Audio Control LC2i or the Kicker KeyLoc improve the sound on one of these small enclosure subs (vs just tapping directly into the speaker wires)?
Definitely cant fit 8" diameter behind the rear seat (above poster mentions 5" clearance at the bottom). I kind of doubt there's a good spot for that, but I'll dig around the truck to see if I could stash that somewhere.
Seems like two posters with poor reviews of the Kicker, so I'm kind of...
I checked this against the official wiring diagram for my 2024 and the wire colors referenced above are correct. NOTE that this only applies to the Ranger without the subwoofer. The colors are different for any model with a Subwoofer (Lariat/Raptor).
For anyone who has tapped the sub audio source from the rear speaker wires, do you get any weird engine enhancement sounds or other annoying effects amplified through the sub? Seems like this is an issue on other Ford vehicles (and the prior gen Ranger), not sure its the same here or not.
Thanks a lot. Any chance you have the PN for the one with pigtails? If I understand correctly, you had to remove the actual stereo head unit to plug into the back of it? How hard was that? Trying to keep this as easy as possible to align with my (lack of) skillset.
My XLT doesn't have a...
I know people have installed the Kicker Hideaway HS8 in the rear seatback area, but has anyone installed the HS10? The price is similar and the size is almost the same, but want to make confirm the HS10 fits. How tight is the fit on the HS8?
For those of you who have installed the either of...
For those of you with the “h” shaped clamps for the 2024 version - I suggest installing the strap grommet in the space with the arrow in the attached photo. The way the instructions show to install the strap will fail. Bolt>washer>bracket leg (NOT grommet) > grommet > bracket leg > hole > nut.
I looked everywhere for a black tip and couldn't find a good fit. I wound up buying this and installed last weekend.

Its nothing special, and we'll see how it holds up, but it was cheap and it looks really nice for...
Don’t forget that the wheel width also factors into poke, so a wider wheel will have more poke than a narrower wheel with the same offset. I narrowed it down to 8.5 inch wide wheels with +35 offset or 8 inch wide wheels with +25 offset.
play around with an offset comparison tool (there are a...
Anyone install one of these grills? Im tempted - Looks pretty sweet.

I bought precut tint on Etsy and did it this weekend. It was cheap so I bought 2 kits from different vendors just in case one was higher quality or if I screwed up. Both were equal quality tint, but one of them had sharp corners while the other was rounded. The rounded one had better coverage...
I took off the stock decals and want to replace them with dark gray FX4 decals on my truck. Tons of options out there that say they are Ranger decals, but they are all 14". My stock decals were 10.25" and I want to stick with the OEM size. Anyone know where I can find a smaller one? Ive...
