They did and it sounds pretty great! I was on a mission to make my 2.3 sound better and it seems like air is the best way to do that. A 4 cylinder is what it is and the exhaust isn't ever going to sound great, but the turbo and air can really make some good noise.
Cool. Hard to believe something as trivial as disconnecting the battery would lead to drama, but some other threads referenced lost data or codes thrown. Glad thats not the case.
Now its up to me to create the drama as I play electrician....
Im near Boston too and reached out to the dealership I just bought the truck from asking about the performance tune. They never even got back to me. I get the sense the performance tune is kind of case by case and some dealers do a lot of them while others have no idea it exists.
If I need to disconnect the battery on my XLT 2.3, what will reset and what memory information will I lose? I would think it would be good to go once its reconnected, but Ive read mixed things about this and want to prepare for any settings resets. Thanks
Has anyone installed this grill on the US Ranger?

Curious to see pics and confirm whether there are any quirks integrating into a US Ranger.
I’ll send you a pm with the retailer but hubcentric rings cost basically nothing so just buy whatever you want. I think mine come with the method rings. I don’t have them yet.

Just wonder how heavy the tailgate would be once I pack it full.
Pretty sure there isn't a package other than Raptor that offers Aux switches in the US. Probably different in Oz though.
Looks like all of the onboard mounts only work for the ARB dual. I was only planning to mount a single, so I'll either have to upgrade to the dual or fabricate an adapter...
Mine had the same issue, but at the back towards the tailgate. Not sure whether the rails were slightly bent, or whether the bed rail wasn't completely flush. I loosened the clamps slightly and then hit the rail with a rubber hammer, then tightened the clamps down again and it seated perfectly...
Im going to take a dremel or grinder to mine.
Ive been in contact with Bak regarding the tailgate gap on mine and they keep denying that its an issue, or pointing to other irrelevant things. Its clearly not right and I'm getting kind of frustrated with the whole thing. If I leave the rails...
I think I already know the answer, but has anyone endeavored to try the ebay molle panels from carpart2021 seller? I'm sure this is a buy nice or buy twice purchase, but maybe someone has taken the plunge and can tell me they were pleasantly surprised with these? Or are they junk like I'm...
Mine are being sent with new lug nuts and hubcentric rings and dealer said that I needed to use the ones provided. I don't know what the oem spec is but these are 14x1.5mm conical seat nuts.
I don't have a Raptor, so no Aux switches. But the switch shouldn't be too hard, and it sounds like running power from the battery wasn't too bad either. Did you have to relocate the intake filter? Not concerned with water getting that high, but that location could be pretty exposed to dust...
Is this true? I have disconnected batteries from other vehicles many times without issue (although not my Ranger, many of the vehicles are much more sophisticated than a Ranger). Was planning to disconnect my battery from the Ranger to do some electrical work this weekend, and never even...
