  1. Factory spray in bedliner scrapes easily

They absolutely covered right over all of that. I had a heck of a time getting enough of the line-x off in order to remove the torx bolts when I needed to remove the tie downs to install a swing out bed box. Stripped one that I'll be pickup up a replacement for at the dealer tomorrow. Only...
  2. Induction Service!

Very interesting. Seems very logical that without fuel spraying over the valves that this buildup could take place. I think I'll add the service recommended in the article to my "to do" list every 10K or so. Thanks for the info.
  3. Induction Service!

Woked for a dealership from 1992 through 2006 (we had Pontiac, Jeep, and Isuzu SUVs) and I recall never finding any carbon buildup on intakes and throttle bodies when people drove their vehicles a little harder. It was the ones who drove like they would be trying to keep the "eco" light on in...
  4. Factory spray in bedliner scrapes easily

I have no experience with the factory liner. Mine came with none so I had a Line-X one done and it seems to be up to the task. Had a heck of a time trying to scrape some away to remove cargo tie down points in order to install swing out bed box.
  5. Powering a hitch-mounted 12000 lb winch on the RR?

I have a winch and carrier to work in the hitch to prepare for my very occasional, so far, off-roading, but didn't think about getting power to it. I wouldn't think much more than some lights would run off of the pre-wired location at the left side of the bed? So then I would imagine for my...
  6. Number of 2024 Ranger Raptors Built?

...and almost all are cactus grey.
  7. Number of 2024 Ranger Raptors Built?

Okay, I went through this whole thread and have come to the conclusion that there are 137 Ranger Raptors in the U.S. You are welcome OP.
  8. Wannabe Baja Racer RR

Also today, I'm in the process of putting this together to have some backup on the spur of the moment trail rides. It's a workout to move; thing is heavy!
  9. Wannabe Baja Racer RR

Today I installed a Ford swing out box. I had about 38,000 reward points after the purchase of the Raptor and it took $190 off the price of the box. So for $52, it was a pretty good deal. Nice as I was able to take a bag that I carried in the cab out and put all the stuff that was in it...
  10. Wannabe Baja Racer RR

Friday I had the undercarriage coated in fluid film at T3 Industries, Manahawkin, NJ. They were terrific, highly recommend.
  11. What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

I had the undercarriage protected with fluid film. I felt great about it until I looked under and saw my beautiful orange shocks coated in the fluid film and the road dust and dirt that sticks to that stuff. I couldn't bring myself to take a picture; I just laid on the ground and sobbed...
  12. Do You Shoot Regularly

Yep; nice when a hobby includes keeping up a perishable skill that is also acceptable training for work:
  13. 2024 Ranger Raotor should I stay or should I go ?

I think the answer would be based on, "what are you doing with the RR when you're not towing a trailer?" If it just gets you from point A to point B on straight highway or if it just sits in your driveway, or if you load it to the gills with your gear and family to go to places where the...
  14. Does your raptor lean?

Was very noticeable on my 21 Tundra when it had a full tank of fuel. Lots of people I spoke to had the same.
  15. Beer.raptor goes to Death Valley 2025

Thanks for posting. We just don't have scenery and trails like that in my neck of the woods so living vicariously through others has to do for now.
  16. Any thoughts on "notching out" this center support in front of the radiator?

Thank you very much. That is exactly what I'm going to do.
  17. Any thoughts on "notching out" this center support in front of the radiator?

True. I have seen others that would fit better, but I spent a bundle for mine, feel like I have to use it.
  18. Any thoughts on "notching out" this center support in front of the radiator?

Not a ton; here's another angle when I had the light bar with the mount connected on the far side. Couple inches? A curved light bar would probably do the trick too, just again, not one as deep as my Diode Dynamics one.
  19. Any thoughts on "notching out" this center support in front of the radiator?

That sounds like the voice of reason. I'll hold off for a while, maybe look into some ditch lights instead.
  20. Any thoughts on "notching out" this center support in front of the radiator?

I'm assuming that all the electronics/mechanicals for the louvers are in this piece so cutting into it would be unwise...
