Except Ford will not offer anything that will not void the warranty. All their Ford Performance units are for racing purposes only. And they will not admit to any carbon build up issue.
Only the location of the pcv valve is the same for the driver side. The intake fitting is in a different location. That hose would be completely different if the mounting location is even the same.
For the people waiting for Ford to put it out it's still not street legal and I'm pretty sure does nothing for warranty either. In the descriptions it say they are for separating oil.
Admin said I can't because I helped them develope the kit (just the caliper bracket as they already have this kit for the world wide Ranger) and if they want advertisement they need to pay the sponsorship fee.
I don't know if I'm allowed to say their name again according to admin. But if you search ranger brake kits they're are the ones that are based in the UK and Taiwan.
So, driving impressions this morning. A lot of the slack is gone. Meaning the brakes engage shortly after you step on the pedal. No more way down engagement. It's definitely is consistent now. It's a little firmer as well. Not so soft. Stops way quicker. Still haven't even broken them in yet and...
You need to contact them. I R&D'd for them at my cost. They said it would fit and I bought the kit. Turns out the bracket is different. I gave them the measurements and they resigned the bracket.
Finally got the different mounting bracket. Still had to shim but was able to shim this time to center the caliper. The worldwide Ranger is a different brake setup. The bracket that came for the worldwide version couldn't be shimmed in the correct direction. Stops better obviously and the...
A mixture of oil with water. Some of it pretty chunky. I'm glad I tied in the breather side. That's when I started collecting the moisture/water vapors. When it was PCV only it collected only oil.
The amount of junk caught in the catch can in 5600 miles. This is cumulative. I'm saving the oil and adding future drains into this so over time you can see how much in total is collected at what mileage.
Finally got the kit but being the first NA Ranger it turns out the mounting bracket is different than the international model. New brackets are being made.
The original setup I did without including the breather is quite simple. Only took a few hours. It took some more thought to include the breather side but based on what I posted it shouldn't be very hard. This was all me figuring it out from scratch.
