Finally got the kit but being the first NA Ranger it turns out the mounting bracket is different than the international model. New brackets are being made.

The amount of junk caught in the catch can in 5600 miles. This is cumulative. I'm saving the oil and adding future drains into this so over time you can see how much in total is collected at what mileage.

Nice! I just checked my UPR can and it had about 2 tablespoons worth in the 2 weeks it was on, driven maybe 200 miles tops. This being my first ever catch can, what was your consistency like?

A mixture of oil with water. Some of it pretty chunky. I'm glad I tied in the breather side. That's when I started collecting the moisture/water vapors. When it was PCV only it collected only oil.

Finally got the different mounting bracket. Still had to shim but was able to shim this time to center the caliper. The worldwide Ranger is a different brake setup. The bracket that came for the worldwide version couldn't be shimmed in the correct direction. Stops better obviously and the pedal feel has firmed up a bit and doesn't feel as vague or spongy. Would like it to feel firmer so I'll see what rear braided lines will do.

How much was your kit? I checked out their website but it didn’t specify the 2019 MY Ranger. I agree the brakes are mushy until it finally bites. I might replace all the lines to braided steel...

You need to contact them. I R&D'd for them at my cost. They said it would fit and I bought the kit. Turns out the bracket is different. I gave them the measurements and they resigned the bracket.

I was really happy it just cleared them. The template had a much smaller center hub cutout than the actual wheel so I eyeballed it.

So, driving impressions this morning. A lot of the slack is gone. Meaning the brakes engage shortly after you step on the pedal. No more way down engagement. It's definitely is consistent now. It's a little firmer as well. Not so soft. Stops way quicker. Still haven't even broken them in yet and seasoned the rotors and bedded the pads. I'll be looking to replace the rear rotors with a cross drilled/slotted to match the front and look for braided lines. Pedal feels like it should now. A little firmer with the rear braided is all I can ask or expect. So, my initial diagnosis that the master cylinder is mismatched is probably correct. Why they did that I have no idea.
