  1. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Ranger 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

My 2015 ram 2500 had tons of recalls like 7-9 I think over time. Got lots of free parts and replacements because of it 😁
  2. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Ranger 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

Almost all the cars nowadays. At least it's federally mandated to report them to us and fix it or we'd be on our own I assure you.
  3. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Ranger 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

Well I guess the VIN list is loaded! Will check when I get home from vacation 😳
  4. Bed lighting upgrade w/ cabinet light strips from Costco

    I wonder if they'll magnet-stick to a spray-in bedliner?
  5. 2025 2.3 Start-up CLUNK

Bet we'll see a TSB soon if it's this prevalent....I have 550 miles and so far nothing on my '26. Fingers crossed...
  6. First oil change at 2300 miles

It honestly doesn't look too bad to me, still see some honey color to it through the light...but I'm coming from a diesel pickup to mine and I'm used to solid black in 50 miles after a change :p I would do a 1k change on my new 2.3 but I have a big road trip coming up and I think I'll be at...
  7. ARES CREE LED Reverse Light System install

I've seen a lot of debate on it, that's for sure!
  8. F150Led Reverse Lights installed

There's quite a few reviews on them saying they don't fit tight, which I assume meant the actual plugging of them into their socket (the electrical connection)....you have any issue with that?
  9. ARES CREE LED Reverse Light System install

Yeah, let's see some performance pics of your screen (might be hard to demonstrate) or from outside the truck on scene! The grease is likely for the connectors, although I'd only put it on the rubber gaskets of the connector and not the pins themselves...it's a common fallacy that packing your...
  10. Removing splash guard for oil changes

2.3L FX4 is metal skid plate/shield and a "normal" metal pan and drain plug.
  11. Get yourself a Screen Protector.

I just ordered one that comes with a "hinge" sticker you run along the top onto the plastic to line it up, and then pull the backing and stick down. Looked effective enough......I didn't even think about screen protectors but I swear by the phone ones....I knew this forum was going to cost me.
  12. Get yourself a Screen Protector.

    ...and it's "explosion proof"! 🤣
  13. 2025 2.3 Start-up CLUNK

I wonder if it's related to the auto start/stop system being mechanically linked and unlinked from the drivetrain...
  14. Bed lighting upgrade w/ cabinet light strips from Costco

It's a neat solution I hadn't seen, I like the wireless linking and separate switch...my panel where you mounted your is blank so good place for me
  15. Bed lighting upgrade w/ cabinet light strips from Costco

Do those require each separate strip to be charged or all they all connected (only one charge needed)
  16. Introducing JXB PERFORMANCE center driveshaft billet carrier and improved bearing kit (FRD12A0-BRG- S) for 2024+ Ford Ranger/Raptor

Looks nice, but is the center carrier a known weak point? What's the advantage of upgrading to this from a stocker?
  17. Thinking about getting a 2026 ranger

Really happy with the ride on my new '26 FX4, seems very firmly planted and rides as expected. My daily is a take-home Ford PIU Explorer, so I'm used to a little more firm. Not jiggly at all though IMO
  18. 2025 2.3 Start-up CLUNK

I read somewhere other than this forum (maybe the above reddit thread) it might be the transfer case shifter doing a "mode check" but not sure I buy that....shouldn't be any driveline bind that would cause that xfer case noise at startup...would be nice to hear if anyone gets solid info on it or...
  19. What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽

Installed some new Westin 4" oval side steps (nerf bars?).
