I have the 2.7L. I started with just the Eibach front level lift at 2-1/4ā. After I installed a BDS 1ā rear shackle lift I dialed in another 1/2ā up front. Iām running Nitto 33ā tires and I have the SuperPro UCAs installed up front.
I purchased the SuperPro UCAs but haven't had a chance to install them yet. As is I get very little rubbing with the 33s and pretty much only at full turn. Trimming some liner would eliminate the rubbing but I'm holding off on that to see how the new UCAs affect things. And I'm going to dial...
Yeah I definitely screwed up. But according to a Ford tech Iāve been emailing with I will be able to download the the 25 tune into my ProCal 4 once itās available. I guess weāll see. He also said the ProCal 4 cannot overcome the 2480 tire circumference in the BCM. And a dealer cannot...
Thereās never been a 2.7L Ranger before, so not sure why the Ford site says it doesnāt fit the 24/25. I bought it from Stage 3

Good to know I'm not the only one!
I just ordered the Ford Performance Tune, so I'm anxious to see if that will allow me to update the PCM for tire size.
If I entered anything larger than 2480 for circumference I get an error/warning from the BCM about the value being outside the range allowed. I can go through the PCM/TCM and AWD relearn, but I still wind up with a U0422 error from the PCM.
It would appear that Ford changed some limits for the 2025 such that the circumference can't be larger than 2480. I also looked into changing axle ratio to 3.50 with the original circumference value of 2409 in my truck. The truck won't accept anything besides a 3.73 ration it appears.
I got my new 275/70R18 Nitto tires and Eibach coilover level kit last week, and finally tried to update my tire circumference to match the new tires. My original circumference was 2409 and I needed to enter 2571. After multiple writes and relearns it seems that the 2025 Lariat maxes out at...
FWIW I just tried changing the axle ratio to 3.55 with a circumference of 2443. The PCM module states the axle ratio is out of range. Since 3.73 it the only axle ratio across all 2025 Rangers, maybe itās constrained to just that.
Ok so I just used Forscan to change tire diameter for my new 33ā tires on my ā25 Lariat. The value I need to enter is 2571. After following the steps outlined earlier I still had an error due to this message in the PCM relearn process:
Tire Circumference: Parameter in Central Configuration is...
It rides great, and the front gained 2-1/4ā which matches the rear. Butā¦
I had the 33ā tires installed the day before the lift. There wasnāt any rubbing at full turns. After the lift was installed on Friday I didnāt have an opportunity to drive more than to/from our business.
But then...
She's lifted! Front and rear are now both at 23-1/4" from hub center to fender well. I'm running Nitto Terra Grappler G3s P275/70R18 on 3/4" BORA spacers with the factory BAP wheels. Alignment was done and in spec without replacing UCAs.
