I've experienced what you're talking about too. The audio control module in my Edge has slowly been failing, and sometimes the bings and bongs come from down in the dash rather than the speakers. I assume that's why it's been happening, anyway.

Would you say there is a big difference between 5,000 and 7,500 miles between changes? My nearest dealer is 30 miles away, and sometimes I have gone closer to 7,500 miles between changes just because it's hard to make it out there right on time when life interferes.
