This is one area I have thought about improving my XLT is to add some more LEDs. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there and it doesn't seem too complicated. The chinsel lights are so noticeably dim.
F150 sales is the only reasonable explanation. Some say it is the plant is too small but that shouldn't stop a business from selling more product. The fact is that affordability has become a problem for trucks.
That said, the small truck market along with competition is going to heat up in...
I think the one thing I appreciate about the center screen is it's well integrated with the dashboard. It doesn't stick out and isn't in my line of vision too much.
I had read there were rules/laws coming to lower the distracting screens on vehicles.
I have experienced this - ECO is great around my local neighborhood. Normal would get too herky jerky with the gearing with the stop and go traffic in my area. Its like too many gears and not enough time. Anytime I have to hit the highway, then it's Normal mode for sure.
I have watched some YouTube videos on this topic, some say it is the same as 4A (which I highly doubt as my XLT trim doesn't have 4A). I was curious to see if it automatically puts it directly into 4H. I would assume trim and capability comes into play as well (Raptor slippery != XLT...
It will be snowing tonight in Pennsylvania and I have yet to get my Ranger out in the snow.
Estimated 3-4 inches overnight so it will be the first somewhat substantial snowfall here if it holds up.
I have a 2025 Ranger XLT and I am wondering what Slippery mode gets me vs 4H for example (or is...
I use a SnoBrum.
It was a game changer once I found these existed.
There are several different varieties/brands just get one with a long enough handle to reach the roof or bed of your truck.
No more bristle brushes.
I had experienced the same thing early on, when I had driven the truck off the lot for the first several thousand miles. I felt like I had to stand on the brakes to come to a stop.
I then had this recall bulletin and took my truck to the dealer for the recall fix (and first oil change)...
Buy a 2.7 6 Cylinder Sport model and save a little money. With the money you have saved you could trick out the wheels and tires etc to be more on road worthy. See if one is available for a test drive and see if thats enough juice for you.
I haven't seen any new Ranger online reviews for several months now. Important if you consider Ford barely uses any marketing for this vehicle in the US. I have been loving my Ranger all summer and really it could compete a little better with the Tacoma. Not sure I would consider it...
I placed my order in May 2024 and had to be switched to a 2025 order. My truck was delivered end of April 2025, almost 1 year.
My understanding is it is all related to dealer 'allocations' so perhaps Rangers already sitting on the dealer lots aren't moving.
