basically the same functionality as the dual climate controlYes on single zone climate controls, the fan speed is the right dial, temperature is the left. the system power button is the button in the left dial, and the ac is the right on both single zone and dual zone. the universal symbol for power for decades the circle with line. Ill update comment with pic when I get to my truck when Im going to work shortly.
fan speed dial no button. volume button is power/play/pause for radio/media, temperature adjustment left knob, hvac power button.

i will say it again because this is where ford messed upTry talking to it. It actually understands my voice pretty good
basically yes. we dont have the fan speed as a button, but a dial and our ac is a bottun on the stack, and not in the dial like the dual zone. otherwise they are the same.basically the same functionality as the dual climate control
what app is that screen from?
You would hate the GM system then. Even the headlights are in the stupid screen system... I do agree, however, that the heated seats/steering wheel control as well as the airflow directional should have buttons instead of being at the very bottom of the screen. That is really my only gripe about the large screen setup.I knew when I test drove the Rangers that I would probably dislike the Infotainment screen set-up. But I didn't think I'd absolutely hate it so soon.
This was just an absolutely asinine design decision by Ford. I can't use it to do anything while driving. It's bad enough to not be able to easily control the stereo, but you can't really quickly control the HVAC either.
Sadly, I won't be surprised if people wind up dying in wrecks because of the damn thing.
Honestly, if I hadn't wanted the dependable V6 so badly I probably would've taken my chances with a GMC Canyon.
The problem with the vent control is that you need to hit the screen to open a another screenYou would hate the GM system then. Even the headlights are in the stupid screen system... That’s a fair critique. Glad there’s someone else here who is crazy enough to own both a Ranger and a JL
Two massive control knobs specifically for dual zone climate?? You set and forget so why have them? I haven't changed the temperature setting in 2 years. That's not the benchmark.

I agree with you, it is so annoying and dangerous (yes ford I hope you monitor this site) trying to do something as setting the heated seats only to hit a minor imperfection in the road and your finger moves off the location on these screens!I knew when I test drove the Rangers that I would probably dislike the Infotainment screen set-up. But I didn't think I'd absolutely hate it so soon.
