  1. How-to: use Siri to turn on your Ranger + other shortcuts!

I hear you about the security concerns. I’m assuming you can lock/unlock and start/stop - but not drive with just the phone, correct?
  2. 8k Miles, coolant leak, and Now a replacement engine

To OP: kudos to your dealer for chasing this down. Agree that most would do a pressure test and call it a day. Please update post as this plays out and here’s hoping it gets resolved to your satisfaction.
  3. 8k Miles, coolant leak, and Now a replacement engine

Hopefully these are isolated issues.?? I just changed my oil & filter today so I was all over, under & in the engine compartment. No evidence of a leak & coolant level is stable. 7550 miles, 2nd oil change, bone stock.
  4. 8k Miles, coolant leak, and Now a replacement engine

Well that stinks (no pun intended). If a machining/casting issue it may be lurking in a lot of 3.0L engines in that production run. Guess I’ll have to start sniffing around mine now at 7500 miles. I’ll look at mine & see I see any staining on the passenger side exhaust.
  5. Hood fitment issues?

My hood & doors didnt shut easily at first, especially the hood. After about 3-4 months both issues self-resolved. I never looked that close at the gaps & no one has mentioned any glaring abnormalities so I’ll continue to enjoy it as-is. It’s probably better than the 2012 Ram 2500 I traded in...
  6. 2024 Ranger Raptor Ford Buyback

Really sorry to hear about your experience LSU. Must be really frustrating to go through all the excitement and buildup - only to be disapppointed and not be able to enjoy it. I guess I should consider myself fortunate that my experience has been overall very favorable. It’s a really great...
  7. KO3s terrible in damp conditions

My OEM KO3’s seem pretty good - as good as an “all terrain” tire can be. 7500 miles on my RR since delivery in June. Driven in summer heat, dry & wet. Just had snow & ice and now 8 degrees. The truck and tires handled every condition with appropriate drive settings engaged except ice. Just...
  8. Auto Start Stop (ASS) deactivate / delete / eliminator tool device for $18.00

“ (ASS) deactivate / delete / eliminator tool” Don’t this work on humans? I don’t know about you folks - but there are situations when I wish I had one of these in my pocket? ?
  9. New Ranger Raptor Owner!

Raptor Assault is in Tooele, about 25 min from SLC: https://rangerraptorassault.com/info-register/ They are likely on hiatus for the winter, but RR original purchasers get free admission.??
  10. New Ranger Raptor Owner!

Welcome! I think you’re gonna love the RR. Sign up for the Raptor Assault in Utah if they still offer it. Fun weekend. took mine out in the snow for the first time & was pleasantly surprised at how well it did on some mild double track. I used “slippery/snow/mud” mode & 4A.
  11. Wireless charging over heating phone

My iPhone gets warm when wireless charging in the console - not hot to the touch, but definitely warm. FWIW, it does the same thing in my wife’s Subaru wireless console charger. I think it’s something specific to the wireless charging system, not the phone itself.
  12. Ford Performance functional beadlock rings finally installed!

This would be my concern too. FWIW, none of the trucks at the Raptor Assault ran beadlocks - although in retrospect the trails weren’t that harsh. i think the truck looks great with any of the OEM options, functional or non-functional beadlocks.
  13. How to gap a TRX with a tuned Ranger Raptor (drag race)

What drive mode settings did you use? I assume “Sport”? I bet that felt good to see him in your rear view mirror.
  14. Tune killing MPG

OP - did you have the same wheel & tire combo before the tune? Youre probably aware that bigger (heavier) wheels & tires = more rotating mass. I live in North Georgia where there are virtually no flat roads. No big mountains, but lots of short, steep, punchy climbs Virtually everywhere I go...
  15. My Ranger just delivered

Great looking truck. Congrats & I think you’re gonna love it.
  16. The best $100 I’ve spent on my Ranger Raptor = auto start stop eliminator disabler

Took about the same amount of time to clean my blood stains off the kick panel as it did to install the device. The blood shed was worth it though.
  17. Power seat stopped working

In the posted photo the truck is moving. Memory function won’t work unless completely stopped - at least thats how mine works. Seems like manual controls should still work, unless there is an algorithm that shuts them off above a certain speed. I’ve had my truck for almost 6 months & it there...
  18. Disabling start stop

4D Tech eliminator. Just get it, install it and be done.
  19. New Ranger Raptor Owner!

Congrats! First thing I’d do is have it professionally ceramic coated to help keep that black truck shiny. Next is have the bed LineX coated Unless you only plan to store pillows and marshmallows in back.
  20. Official: Scout EV Pickup & SUV debut w/ Gas Range Extender, 4x4, BOF, Lockers, Sway Bar Disconnect -- All Specs, Wallpapers, Video

Pics I’ve seen are a very attractive design. Option for a bench front seat is brilliant. They may not sell a lot with a bench seat, but it’s a legit nod to retro design.
