  1. LOTS of used Raptors with very low mileage

Just out of curiosities sake, I decided to see how many Ranger Raptors are for sale around me. Around, not close, out here close is a relative term... Within: 100 Miles - 1 Used, 2024 Cactus Gray with 9,000 miles and $105 under original MSRP 200 Miles -1 New, At MSRP! Smaller dealership about...
  2. Husky vs Weathertech Floor mats

I've used Weathertech for many years, but I really don't like what they've done with them. They've gotten so stiff and no longer fit well. I recently tried some Smartliners and I really like them, they have a more rubbery feel, lie flat and really hug the corners like the Weathertechs used to...
  3. LOTS of used Raptors with very low mileage

There's only a couple of colors you DON'T pay for any more. Star White Metallic Tri-Coat on an F 150 is $995, as it the Azure Gray Metallic Tri-coat on the Ranger. And there's not nearly as much to paint on the Ranger...
  4. LOTS of used Raptors with very low mileage

That may be true where you live, but around me all but one of the 7 Ford dealerships charge ADM on anything that says Raptor. Captive market I guess. Red is already back for 2025, at least in the non-Raptors, so Ford could have offered Ruby Red in the 2025 Raptors as well. Back in the day...
  5. LOTS of used Raptors with very low mileage

There haven't been too many Ranger Raptors for sale around me, mostly F 150 Raptors and a few Raptor Rs. Most of the dealerships around me charge a $10K ADM for anything that says Raptor; one, and only one, dealership sells them all at MSRP. I seriously considered a 5.2L Rapid Red Raptor R...
  6. Ford recalls 312,000 vehicles over brake failure risk

Interesting, there is nothing about this on Ford's website yet, either for my Ranger or the wife's F 150. My wife's F 150 does have a different Safety Recall listed though, "On your vehicle, the initial start of trip seatbelt chime may not play from the audio head unit ahu at vehicle start up...
  7. What gives? No rear A/C vents?

For what its worth, my 2023 Ranger Lariat had rear A/C vents, but people complained it was too hot back there. In my 2025 Ranger, with no rear A/C vents, I've had people complain I was trying to freeze them out while it was 107 outside my freezing cab... Oh, and my 70 Plymouth Hemi-Cuda had...
  8. My 2025 Ruby Red Lariat 2.7L

That would look sharp, Tufskinz also does the front grille lettering overlays for the Raptor as well. You'll have to post pics.
  9. My 2025 Ruby Red Lariat 2.7L

No, I bought those direct from Tufskinz. Nice thing about Tufskinz is that you can get the lettering in pretty much whatever color you want, and they can match any Ford OEM color, so I was able to get the Marsh Gray F 150 letter for the wife's King Rang F 150 as well
  10. Moving up from Ranger 5G to 6G. Questions for member who have done so.

Truthfully, I haven't noticed a significant difference in the gas mileage between my old 2023 2.3L Ranger and my new 2025 2.7L Ranger. I'm already hitting 20 mpg in town with only 200 miles on the engine so it should only continue to get better as the engine breaks in. According to...
  11. Moving up from Ranger 5G to 6G. Questions for member who have done so.

Funny, the 2.7L, like the 2.3L, is supposedly one of the most reliable engines Ford has built. And the 2.7L is regarded as one of the most bullet proof engines Ford has ever built, although in my personal opinion those laurels should belong to the legendary I-6. Indeed while some of the the...
  12. 2025 Color Choices - What did you choose?

Ruby Red all the way, my favorite color next to Screaming Yellow. Love to see a Screaming Yellow/Dark Shadow Gray Ranger.
  13. Moving up from Ranger 5G to 6G. Questions for member who have done so.

I owned a 2023 2.3L Eruption Green Lariat. I hated it with a passion. In the 18 months I owned it, it was always visiting the shop for one reason or another. Of course that may, or may not, have been related to the fact it was built in Dec 2022, on the very day the Wayne Assembly Plant closed...
  14. infotainment split screen

You want Ford to give you the functionality we had with Sync3 and its much smaller screen? <gasp> I love my 2025 Ranger, Sync4 not so much.
  15. Secrets, Tips & Tricks...Post Them Here

Actually for those that haven't realized it yet, there is a manual! Ford just cheaped out and doesn't provide them any more. I'll bet Farley has never sat there with the p.o.s. On Screen manual trying to find an answer to things. I just got the printed 2025 Ford Ranger Owner's manual from...
  16. My 2025 Ruby Red Lariat 2.7L

Yeah, The Ruby Red is a much truer red than the Chili Pepper red and I spec'ed it with the Black Package to get rid of all the chrome. Need to replace the lug nuts tho, they really stand out.
  17. My 2025 Ruby Red Lariat 2.7L

Well its here, and I love it! Got pretty much all available options on it, now I just have to decide what I want to do to customize it a bit.
  18. New 2025 Lariat, 2.7L - Should I get Ford Protect?

I always go Premium because that's pretty much a direct extension of the 3/36000 warranty. Also, its the only one that covers Emissions and Audio.
  19. 2025 Ranger Lariat 2.7 on hold for over 2 months!

My 2025 2.7 Lariat was ordered first week in Feb, went into production on 24 May, but not actually built until 17 Jun. It shipped on 22 Jun and is now due for delivery within the next two weeks. Only thing I heard on the slight production delay allegedly had to do with the 2.7L. A nearly...
  20. New 2025 Lariat, 2.7L - Should I get Ford Protect?

I always get a Ford extended service plan. As others point out, one bad computer module or turbo unit can pretty much pay for the cost of a plan. I always add in the key and lighting options, especially on the Lariats and above. Just looking at the replacement costs of just the steerable...
