New Rangers are in a totally different class that previous. I owned a 1991 XLT 4x4 and loved it, but the new trucks are on a whole new level. I am running a 2024 Lariat FX4, and would not go any other route if I had to to do it again. Really enjoy the truck. The interior is refined and less...
I did 265/70/17 Mickey THompsons on Ford Performance wheels these wheels are an inch wider with the same 55 offset, so all of that 1 inch is inboard. They where super tight. No rubbing, but you cant get any closer. Bronco wheels are a 35 offset I believe which would move everything an inch...
They are Ford Performance wheels. An inch wider so the knuckle to tire clearance is really tight but they do not rub after 3300 miles. The stock wheels will be my winter tire set.
Was this note about build date on the order page before? I think that is new.

SSM 52727 2024 Ranger/Nautilus - Inoperative Global Opening/Closing Feature
Some 2024 Ranger/Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an inoperative global opening/closing feature. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-11 for normal diagnostics. If normal diagnostics...
Picked "Elmer" up a couple weeks ago. Went to central Montana to scout for Antelope that opens next month. Winter tires will be going on the stock 18" wheels. Oil separator was just ordered. 1400 miles in 16 days, I might need to slow down a bit.
To get family pricing, the employee needs to use a pin generator with their company log in to validate the price in the computer. Hopefully, they help you generate that pin or you already have it, otherwise, you might be out of luck for the plan pricing.
If you keep the same load rating of the tire as on the placard in the door, (111T), then the truck can carry its full axle load at 30 PSI. You can add more, if you are hauling a heavy load, but never exceed the sidewall rating on the tire. Heat is what kills tires, that's why its important...
So the truck came early and I never even test drove it with the stock tires. Those Goodyears are a joke as an AT tire. The 265/70/17 on the Ford preformance wheels are really close (1/4") to the steering knuckle, but no rub. The Baja Boss is very quiet. 90% of the complaints about tire noise...
I'm not planning to do a lot in the rocks so I will be going with the XL load range instead of the LT with 3ply sidewall. I think the 3ply at 54 pounds each is a little much for the Ranger.
On my 2006 Silverado, I ran KO2s and they were great on road, quiet and handled well. In the Montana winters, they were great in deep snow and sucked in compact snow and ice. I moved to a Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 3 for winter and it was a game changer. Not studded and I rarely had to shift...
Your last paragraph of "so much information at our finger tips",. The problem with this is there are a bunch of folks making videos and writing on forums that "think" they know what they are doing and have no clue. These are the ones that put 6 inch lifts, and 40's on a truck and then complain...
Spreadsheet seems to not have much action anymore.

Just got confirmation email saying my Lariat was built 8/6/24
The 12v outlets are rated to 20 amps max. If your compressor does not have an amp rating on it, it may state how many watts it uses. Watts = Volts * Amps. So max wattage on the outlets is 240watts.
