Your factory warranty is 36k miles or 3 years. You’re basically buying a warranty that covers 24k miles for $2300. Very rarely do major components fail before 60k. Save your money
Dealers push extended warranties because the consumer almost always looses in the deal. Can’t believe folks still buying these. Put your money in the bank.
Very happy with the 2.7L XLT I bought (the Ford leather isn’t leather so I passed up on the Lariat). The 2.7L and RR have comparable performance numbers and I’m averaging 23-26 mpg. Both fantastic trucks… hope you enjoy whichever you choose. The new Ranger is pretty solid for a mid size truck...
