It is not the "Lane Keeping" system that is annoying you; it is the "Lane Centering." They are separate systems. Go into settings in the center screen and turn off Lane Centering.

On our 2024 Ranger Raptor you can turn the lane keeping on or off, regardless of whether you are using cruise control.
