While we are commiserating....
I had a giant dump truck throw a rock that I swore would have left a huge dent. Sounded like a bowling ball hit the side of the truck.
Turns out it was the curved lip right by the rear passenger window. Thankfully it wasn't the window itself--i'm sure that would...
Video of Shafer Pass switchbacks going from Canyonlands to Moab.
Some photos coming down Tater Ridge, Kaibab National Forrest last year.. right where the Dragon Bravo fire is currently raging :(
This is about as rock crawly as I get with my trailer...
I don't have any great action shots...
I've got a little over 12,000 mi on my little over a year old Ranger Raptor.
I've taken it on a 6800 mile road trip from the east coast over through much of Utah, Arizona and Colorado. Did Moab, North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Alpine loop including mineral creek, among many forest service roads...
Yes, I would likely buy that.
I like this shelf approach where it extends up beyond the back. It give an option to fill this unused space / give it purpose or keep things sleek and minimal if not needed.
What use cases have you found with it being angled like that? I would almost rather have...
When you start the engine normally it will temporarily idle quite high. Somewhere around 2k RPM.
When you perform this task, it's cranking much, much slower. Not sure how many RPM but I would expect 500 RPM or less.
I think that's where the benefit lies. The oil gets distributed at a much...

Maybe need to check level after engine is warmed up. I haven't confirmed this in the manual myself.
*EDIT*
Looks like you check with the engine cold. See page 408...
Any plan to do a MOLLE panel that spans the entire length, same height as the one you have already? Or a second one to fit on the other side, but same height as the one in your photos?
I bet it's very rewarding seeing something like this go from concept to production from a creators perspective. Also, I'm extremely jealous of the tools and equipment you have at your disposal.
Details can be found here, along with a link to their store page where it's currently for sale.

Believe that was John Davies you owe that drink to :D

I took it to have them give it a look over and rotate the tires, but did not have them change the oil. I also do that myself and it's something easy enough to do myself to ensure it's done the way I like, with the oil I like and at the frequency I like.
There is a benefit to at least having...
Another thought. Standard design has two sides. I'm not sure how they're attaching to the structural bars but if it can be designed to have the option to install a single slide centerd that might be worth considering.
I only need one slide for now as I have some long gear I plan to store in the...
From photos I've seen you usually put cut outs for L-track rings on the base. Is there a way to secure loads from side to side without reducing available footprint? perhaps somewhere above the slides/on the slide rail sleeves?
Assuming it's structurally safe to do this, if there enough space...
Are the slides you're using on this, these: https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jt-fridge-slide/ ?
If yes, do you keep stock of these in textured black or would they need to be built to order?
Got my order in! Very excited for this. Thanks for such a quick turn around on getting these order-able.
Keeping my eyes peeled for the bed slide, hopefully next!
Unclear if we're just not aligning or if you're just being argumentative. No one said it was better. Just that it was more robust and the point I was making is at least in my opinion you get a quality part for the effort.
Fingers crossed it alll lines up and I can have this for my upcoming trip! Thanks for working so quickly on this.
What are the chances the bed slide system will hit the website in the next few weeks?
They're also gusseted on the side for additional strength. Definitely over built for their purpose. You can tell an engineer was pressed for time and cost wasn't a primary driver. They just over solved the problem. Which works for me, because that's exactly what I always do!
Here they are on my tuck. First photo is stock but with the metal cut out (you do this to feed up the backing you screw the side bolts into). Second is with the j brace installed.
Hardest part of the install is removing / peeling back a part of the fender guard (on ranger raptor, other trims...
