Check for water/ moisture in the plug well. 5G had water intrusion due to poor design of the cowl, leaking water into the spark plug well. Supposedly, that was fixed on 6G with a cover/diverter over the #4 coil pack and HPFP.
There are other features that I like about the Ford app.
1. It's free
2. You can use to start the truck.
3. You can set schedules to when you want it to start.
4. You can monitor tire pressure and oil life.
5. You can lock/unlock the truck.
6. It will notify you of issues. I got a notification...
You will be all right. These S/W are updates for problems that MIGHT occur.
The TRM update was for the trailer module. If you aren't towing, it's not an issue.
The BCM update (BCM-25.7.0) says "The rear wheel speed sensor should no longer throw a fault code during the s/w update."
I wouldn't think so. That's a different module.
BTW, I had 3 OTA updates this weekend.
1. SYNC system
2. TRM trailer module
3. BCM to update something about wheel speed sensors.
Three OTA updates this weekend
Friday was SYNC update for problematic blue tooth.
Today was TRM 26C10 update for trailer control module AND BCM-25.7.0 update for wheel speed sensor.
This brings up two questions.
Why display that message in the center-top of the screen, and not lower out of camera view?
But most importantly, why can't have Full View?
The "Please check surroundings for safety" would be easier with Full View. No?
What about I sweeten the deal?
$700 if we meet in Nashville. It would have to Saturday the 23 or Sunday the 24
EDIT: That was an early post. Me not thinking straight. But for that extra $200 (or close to it), you could ship them to me.
Hello fellow Louisianian (is that a word). Welcome to the club, you are going to love it.
Or, as we say in Cajun Country (St Martin Parish), "You gonna pass a good time!"
Question: Are Raptor wheels the same offset as XLT FX4? Would these bolt up with no rubbing issues if I put 33" tires on them? A little poke would be OK if these have less offset.
Edit: I see from other posts that Raptor and Non-Raptor have same offset.
Wanna meet in Nashville this weekend...
On my XLT FX4, yes, had to because lights were shining at the top of trees
IIRC, Lariats have auto adjustment, so you may not have to do anything.
Many have put up to 33" tires with no problems. But going wider may cause rubbing.
I've seen a couple on 5G for sale, cheap. They thought they wanted a topper, then for a reason didn't want one. If it's a name brand like Lear or ARE that's in good shape, I'd say $500 to $1000 is a good deal, as new ones can be 3- 4000.
