  1. 2.3 Engine Jerking

Check for water/ moisture in the plug well. 5G had water intrusion due to poor design of the cowl, leaking water into the spark plug well. Supposedly, that was fixed on 6G with a cover/diverter over the #4 coil pack and HPFP.
  2. 2025 Ranger Stx 4x4 - Info/tips

There are other features that I like about the Ford app. 1. It's free 2. You can use to start the truck. 3. You can set schedules to when you want it to start. 4. You can monitor tire pressure and oil life. 5. You can lock/unlock the truck. 6. It will notify you of issues. I got a notification...
  3. Safety Recall: Ford Fixing Integrated Trailer Module with OTA Software Update Affecting 2024-26 Ranger Vehicles

You will be all right. These S/W are updates for problems that MIGHT occur. The TRM update was for the trailer module. If you aren't towing, it's not an issue. The BCM update (BCM-25.7.0) says "The rear wheel speed sensor should no longer throw a fault code during the s/w update."
  4. Broken Tailgate Bolt for Strut

Looks like someone over torqued it. It should be warrantied. But do you want your truck sitting at the dealership waiting to fix a broken bolt?
  5. Safety Recall: Ford Fixing Integrated Trailer Module with OTA Software Update Affecting 2024-26 Ranger Vehicles

I wouldn't think so. That's a different module. BTW, I had 3 OTA updates this weekend. 1. SYNC system 2. TRM trailer module 3. BCM to update something about wheel speed sensors.
  6. Yet Another Recall For Trailer Module

Three OTA updates this weekend Friday was SYNC update for problematic blue tooth. Today was TRM 26C10 update for trailer control module AND BCM-25.7.0 update for wheel speed sensor.
  7. Raptor Key Fob Question.

OR, you got a plain key fob because 'supply change issues' at Ford, there were no Raptor fob to be had.
  8. Why won’t they let me see? "Full View Not Available" on rear camera view

This brings up two questions. Why display that message in the center-top of the screen, and not lower out of camera view? But most importantly, why can't have Full View? The "Please check surroundings for safety" would be easier with Full View. No?
  9. Michelin truck bed mat from Treadauto

It's the same with a lot of products. One main manufacture. Others just slap their own logo on it and charge a bit more.
  10. Ohio FS: Beadlock capable Ranger Raptor wheels w/TPMS $500 - central Ohio

What about I sweeten the deal? $700 if we meet in Nashville. It would have to Saturday the 23 or Sunday the 24 EDIT: That was an early post. Me not thinking straight. But for that extra $200 (or close to it), you could ship them to me.
  11. Locking Rear Diff - physical button?

Yeah, that' how it is, which is kinda BS as there is an unused switch near the 4x4 selector, next to the terrain button.
  12. Bronco rotary style wheels

Reminds me of the ones on my 1995 F150. I think they could look great, depending on the color of your truck.
  13. What do the Wheel Arch Sensors do? - 24 XLT FX4

I don't have those on my 24 XLT High FX4. Perhaps you have the Tech package (I don't).
  14. New Member From Louisiana

Hello fellow Louisianian (is that a word). Welcome to the club, you are going to love it. Or, as we say in Cajun Country (St Martin Parish), "You gonna pass a good time!"
  15. Ohio FS: Beadlock capable Ranger Raptor wheels w/TPMS $500 - central Ohio

Sorry, I'll have to pass. That would be a 14hr drive, one way. Even Nashville was pushing it far, at 10hr drive for me.
  16. Ohio FS: Beadlock capable Ranger Raptor wheels w/TPMS $500 - central Ohio

Question: Are Raptor wheels the same offset as XLT FX4? Would these bolt up with no rubbing issues if I put 33" tires on them? A little poke would be OK if these have less offset. Edit: I see from other posts that Raptor and Non-Raptor have same offset. Wanna meet in Nashville this weekend...
  17. 2026 Lariat FX4 - 2-2.5in Level - 2 Questions about Headlight adjustment and tires?

On my XLT FX4, yes, had to because lights were shining at the top of trees IIRC, Lariats have auto adjustment, so you may not have to do anything. Many have put up to 33" tires with no problems. But going wider may cause rubbing.
  18. I'm confused on Order Scheduling

There's a cycle to what is available. IIRC, Ranger, Raptor and Bronco take turns on the same assembly line.
  19. TOPPERS? HAS ANYONE?

I've seen a couple on 5G for sale, cheap. They thought they wanted a topper, then for a reason didn't want one. If it's a name brand like Lear or ARE that's in good shape, I'd say $500 to $1000 is a good deal, as new ones can be 3- 4000.
