  1. Recommendations for new Ranger Raptor while everything is clean

Whole Front PPF. Some may argue “it’s a raptor drive it”. I’m in Colorado we have pea sized gravel for traction aid on the highways. Freaking Bullets is what they are! Rokblox mudflaps are fantastic if you want to keep the paint on your rear fenders. I opted for the mid flap to keep the...
  2. Soft rear suspension?

Only when I catch Air! On a serious note either your roads are terrible or you shocks or Springs are bad or you are secretly filming a new Dukes of Hazard Series.
  3. 2025 with 3000 miles not charging at times.

We’ll look at that a loose wire! Slow clap for Ford and not setting the torque.
  4. Does your Ranger have a name?

My wife named her Bronco Grogu. It’s a Eruption Green Badlands. She likes that little green monster from the mandalorian Star wars is hit or miss with me especially the new stuff. When we brought the Ranger home my wife noticed I referred to the truck in the feminine. So I joked around that we...
  5. 2025 with 3000 miles not charging at times.

If it’s intermittent something is probably shaking loose. Does the truck ever illuminate the battery light at idle sitting still? The fact that it isn’t leaving a code probably means it’s something the computer can’t verify like a physical connection. Just open the hood and start tugging on...
  6. 2025 with 3000 miles not charging at times.

Look for simple things first. I just had this happen on my ram 2500. The retention clasp for the alternator signal lead on the back of the alternator broke and it was getting and interrupted signal. Loose grounds or a contaminated battery terminal (corrosion) can cause high resistance and it...
  7. 3.0 eco boost engine intake valves and direct injection!

There are exploded diagrams check this old post it’s all in there. Direct and port injection.
  8. 3.0 eco boost engine intake valves and direct injection!

Here is the thread these are from I did the heavy lifting for you! 🤪
  9. 3.0 eco boost engine intake valves and direct injection!

There are some photos floating around on here taken with a bore scope so everyone can count the injectors. Also anyone that goes to the Raptor assault course can poke there head around the back of the exposed engine on display and see there is no port injection. Ford needs to fix their typo!
  10. Which Fuel Grade do you use in your Ranger Raptor?

GooseTuned’s explanation Looks like we can run E50 as built with a tune. I am guessing the High Pressure fuel pump and injectors would need to be changed plus a tune. Edit: I just read more. Low pressure in tank High pressure and injectors need to be changed to run E85.
  11. Which Fuel Grade do you use in your Ranger Raptor?

I’m jealous other people have 91 ethanol free at least. Where I am I can get 91 but the best ethanol free is 87. I love the mountains but dang the fuel is less than desired.
  12. Dumb question... how do you remove the bedrail caps?

carefully lifting and using a small pick to push the clip teeth out of the latch position. Just prying will not work it stretches the plastic or they will break.
  13. UPR Clean Side Separator fitment

Mine is very tight and doesn’t fit well but it isn’t mangled like yours. I wish it came with a custom pipe to make a cleaner install.
  14. American Adventure Lab Ford Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit Install

It will be very close. But if you de-loom the wires for the trailer plug and loom them into a 90 degree bend then zip tie everything away you will probably just have enough room than vibrations wouldn’t rub the wires.
  15. American Adventure Lab Ford Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit Install

Ford Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit I finally received my American Adventure Lab Ford Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit and got it installed. The install is really easy if you have all the tools listed in the directions. I substituted an oscillating saw instead of cutting the plastic with a knife and...
  16. insulating upr catch can from excessive heat

Moisture isn’t any more harmful than driving on a humid day. Yes It technically doesn’t help with power because it lowers air density but that’s another conversation. Insulating those pipes in a hot engine bay will only slow energy transfer until the pipes reach the ambient temp of the engine...
  17. 2025 Ranger vs. Bronco Badlands.

I own a Bronco 23 Badlands 4D 2.7 SAS and a 24 RR. They are two different animals that I love for different reasons. The Bronco is Definitely for rock wheeling and the RR is Dirt speed. That is way over simplified but in a nutshell. I love both around town but my wife likes the Bronco for the...
  18. Finally checked my UPR catch can after 5k miles

I have Ford performance catch cans on my 2.7 Bronco. They work well. Performance won’t change with catch cans. Down the line depending on the situation and application the back of your intake valves will remain cleaner longer and your intercooler won’t have as much oil in it. These are...
