If you can’t find solid wiring diagrams and load capabilities go old school if you wish to retain Factory functionality and not use Aux switches. Hook up a relay with the original fog light wire as the trigger. Relays of just about any capacity are available. It’s possible to not cut any wires...
There are no bed bolts looking from the top in the Raptor. The bed is mounted from underneath. If you look from the rear corners of the truck and look almost above the rear axle it’s possible to see the bed mounted to the frame brackets from underneath.
I am leaning towards L-Track if no other...
I am looking into the same methods for my Truck. I am planning on taking a trip to Baja in my raptor and need a second spare to fit in the bed. I don't want to stand the spare tire up like the Racers do. I would like to keep a tonneau cover over everything.
In the F150 Raptors the chase Racks...
Most block heater take about 3-7 amps. I have run 2 every night before I bought a timer and it runs up the bill about 50 bucks as of a few years ago.
I now use a WiFi enabled plug capable of 15 amp output. I have it turn on at 4am to leave by 7am. Works great. Here is the Amazon link to my...
Driving habits: Frequent stop-and-go traffic, lots of idling, frequent short trips, driving in heavy city traffic.
Weather conditions: Extreme heat or cold temperatures
Load conditions: Towing heavy trailers or hauling large loads
Terrain: Dusty or muddy roads
I have pretty much all of...
I am also in Colorado Springs.
Longwater is 90% easy stuff. That last climb can be tricky if it’s wet and ice is always fun. Metberry has good play areas as well.
the snow we got last night should burn off.
I just went out testing in the snow and tried different pressures. I am in Colorado Front range area. There are tons of different terrains to play on.
I did all these combos in Baja Mode 4H to limit nanny features spoiling the fun. No traction control for testing or as much as Ford will allow us...
Don’t listen to Ford installed “buy a new truck sooner” meter. It’s there for planned obsolescence. Change your oil between 4-5k.
As a tangent there is great video about oil and wear directly correlating to temperature.
Long live the Block Heater!
I grew up in Orlando. Florida is good to go with catch cans 365. There is not enough cold weather for enough hours of the day to have these issues the northerners are hashing out.
Opposite theory moving weight into the back of a front heavy rig can help traction and balance. It’s common in racing to use spares and gear as ballast.
Can’t see the rims on my phone now but when I watched last night I noticed the RR rims were fitted with bead locks. If I had to guess those tires would be 315/70r17 same as the Bronco Sasquatch.
The RR also had a chase rack that looked similar the unit from SDHQ. Plus the Blowoff valve. Someone...
Just like in the Bronco there is a Clutch inside the transfer case. Couple Bronco owners have smoked that clutch using 4A off-road. Hopefully that is not it. It’s only like a $250 part that isn’t hard to change if you like turning wrenches.
Also check your ABS plugs at the wheels and shock...
