They've been great in rain and snow. I didn't have any issues with the KO3's either. When I was tire shopping I considered KO3's but the size I wanted only came in load range F. So I went with load range D Baja Bosses.
I just put a new engine in my Bronco and did an oil change on my RR so hopefully I'm done with dirty jobs for a while.
Did you get your truck from Farmington Ford? I ordered mine from Bailey Brothers in December 2023 and took delivery April 2024.
I've been trying to get into that habit too. If I don't wear gloves I find myself washing my hands 10 times during the job with harsh chemicals in my garage.
Velocity is just a little too light and bright for me. I liked how my Lightning Blue 2017 Raptor would darken up a little in overcast conditions. Unfortunately, when I bought my 2020 Raptor Lightning Blue was no longer an option.
After watching a couple youtube videos and saw how easy it was to remove the grill I removed it in about 10 minutes and drilled large holes from the backside of the grill.
It was an easy job but if I had to do it again I would probably do as cc1999 suggested and cut the connectors off and drill...

I have a 92 Bronco that I only use to plow my driveway. I call it...
Currently I have my 2024 Ranger Raptor and my 1994 Bronco. I also have my old 92 rustbucket Bronco that I only use to plow my driveway and I have a Buick in the stable. 🙂
I wish somebody made the plastic ones like on the F150s. I liked being able to unlatch it in the middle and fold it off the sides and not have to remove it. I used mine mostly as a bed divider to keep stuff from sliding to the front of the bed.
I don't really notice the weight. New vs new they were slightly louder than the KO3's (which I expected they are more aggressive than the KO3's) but they haven't gotten any louder yet at almost 13k miles so I'm happy with them.
My KO3's were great for the 1 winter and 13K miles I put on them. The only reason I replaced them is because I wanted fatter, beefier tires. When I was shopping for tires I looked at KO3's but the size I wanted only came in a Load Range F KO3. That eliminated those real quick. I was looking for...
