What stopped you from cutting the wire and using a butt connector on the other side?
I thought about it, but I looked on youtube and saw that it would only take about 10 minutes to remove the grill so I removed the grill.

I would agree many of the comments. I also posted a few insights on this when I installed the lights on my 2024 RR. My approach was different than many others. I took the grill off and inserted the lights from the back. I was uncomfortable shaving down the light to make it fit and risk damaging the light. So I inserted the light from the back of the grill. I pushed them into position from behind. In hindsight, it is tricky, but was actually easier than I made it sound. I like the lights, they are the best; but you'll need to modify the installation to get them to fit correctly.

Welp. I have a confession to make. You can drill through the grille and run the wires as advertised in the video. Does the video capture how painful the process is of drilling? No. Should you take the grille off to do this, 100%. If you are super diligent, you wont have any scuff marks showing from the drilling.. I have minor ones.. im just happy I was stubborn enough to keep trying 😂. And it absolutely takes a 7/16 drillbit. I walked my in sizes every time I drilled.

has anyone tried these yet?

Little confused because it looks like they’re “Raptor” lights but for a non-Raptor 2024 Ranger. Will these fit in the Raptor grill? Specifically the three slots at the top of the grill and not the honeycomb area to the sides of the front camera?
I used these and the light bar with remote on my 22 maverick. Went through 2 different sets of “raptor” lights. They kept getting condensation in the lights and either flickering, half lit or not lit at all. Ended up taking them off.
The light bar with the remote on the other hand I loved since the maverick had no fog lights. Used that a lot.
Now that I have the Ranger, I will pass on using f150 lights. The Putco virtual dlr blade light with remote is on my to buy and do list come spring.

IMHO this is the only way that makes sense. The reason I say that is yes you can make the 7/16" drill bit work. I did but you zero margin for error. I have two small marks that will bug the crap out of me. Make so sense to use a connector that big. Then you go to wire it up and realize the harness while of decent quality is way to long. Why have to deal with such a big ball of extra wire. The new Gen LEDs are very bright. Almost too bright I can't recommend the kit
