Had my Maverick for over two years. Never set it off accidently. It's gone off twice in the week I've had my Ranger. Must be something different about the FOB buttons between the two.
I went with these Kewwisauto flaps. I was told they look like Fords but blank where the FORD would be:

Haven't seen the FORD flaps so I don't know.
I ordered the Musolgy flaps first but returned them as they are not flat on the wheel side so they would collect mud and...
I got the Worksport AL4. The thing is solid all the way around. I can walk across it. No rubber flaps on the sides. Doesn't need them. Also doesn't need any drain hoses. Fits perfectly from the front edge of the bed to the tailgate. Have almost full access to the bed when it's flipped up...
Everyone doesn't say that. He needs to check with the manufacturer (not a dealer) to see if the frame on his camper is okay to use a WDH. Then he needs to know when he should disconnect it to avoid problems.

I use these in our camper and our larger kitchen cabinets. However, that's indoors. Under a good, no leaking cover might be okay as long as you put them in the cab when the bed is open.
I've been using the same older Scanguage II for years for towing on several Fords. Just plugs in. No phone needed. One of these days I'll buy a newer one... maybe.
Installed the Redarc "Liberty" brake controller today in my '25 XL with the tow package (no factory brake controller).
Found a good spot for the control dial. It fits right in the right side of the housing for the lighting controls. You have to cut the excess plastic out of that area to access...
Really liked the polished stainless steel letters from Ford on the Alto Blue maverick so I've ordered the same in black for my Carbonized Gray Ranger. Will post a picture of the Ranger next week.
